A few you said are correct but the following are not 100% true. 1. Charging your phone regularly will damage your phone battery. Let me explain, first, your phone make use of ions, those electrons are designed to function in a certain way. Simply put, Charing your phone requires it also discharges. Charging and discharging your phone is good for the health of your battery. Secondly all batteries have what is called a charge cycle. Charing your phone all the time to 100% would reduce the cycle. This is the reason why phones in the last 3yrs or so have optimized their software and added a feature to stop your phone charging at 80% to trick the battery prolong the battery cycles. In fact no phone battery gets to 0% when your phone shows 0% it's actually the software telling you to charge. In real life there is still enough power on tha battery, only that if your phone battery ever hits zero electron level it will never charge. 2. Your phone can cause explosion at a gas station. Your phone make use of batteries, and if those batteries ever reach a point of exploding that spark would actually cause a gas explosion. 3. Using phone in an airplane. Well, most phones have multiple radio signals so is an airplane. Your phone signal could interfere with the radio signal from the plane disrupting the signal from control towers.

Disappointed that you didn't mention the myth about fast charging. A lot of smartphones today can charge their 5000mah batteries in less than 30 minutes and they last longer than your 11 pro max, 12, 13 14 , 15 and s24 ultra that take more than an hour to charge. Samsung and apple just choose to not innovate.

The main reason for that is just to be sure that your device is properly charged before using it. Some people have returned some electronic products because they thought it was defective but it was just because it was not properly charged,most times the batteries might drain totally during long shipping so that's y manufacturers urge you to first let it charge before using.

As a tech guy, I completely disagree with your 7th myth. Even though your phone manages background applications to save battery, how does it manage it? It manages it by closing some of the apps and if it is still in the memory, it's consuming the battery, also by prioritizing your frequently used apps. So if you don't plan on using the app for a very long time, you should definitely close it, even if it's just a calculator app. Or are you trying to say you'll leave 2 heavy games on the background and expect your battery not to drain faster? C'mon man

@adebiyiaromolaran8437 Ай бұрын
Can't agree less 👍
@oscarmini
@oscarmini Ай бұрын
Thanks, Dan, for your comment. Let's clear this. Modern smartphones efficiently manage background apps by suspending them to save power. In that case, manually closing apps might not help and could even use more battery. This is because reopening an app from scratch requires more CPU and resources (you need to read from storage and load into memory) than resuming a suspended app. In fact, the power needed to have the app in memory is quite small when compared to reopening it from scratch and memory loading. Additionally, force-closing apps can interrupt important background tasks, causing them to restart and use even more battery. I hope this helps.
@Daniel-en4ub
@Daniel-en4ub Ай бұрын
@@oscarmini you are right. But closing them alone won't use more battery, it'll help you save a little even if it's a very light app like a calculator, they all consume negligible battery on the background. It'll only consume more battery if you're not done with the app, therefore reopening it. It's a different story for heavy games though, that'll drain your battery life and direct and not even negligible. And a force closed app wouldn't restart even after you restart your phone. Except it's as important as Google play services for example. Unless you mean another thing saying Force closing but if you're talking about force stopping apps (i.e going into app info and Force stopping) I'm right
