QOTD: Well I never really got into CSGO because I didn’t have friends who played and would teach me. I originally came from League of Legends and I love strategic FPS so all of it came naturally

After getting to silver I started getting decent at the game and understood the game much more but my biggest pet peeve when I try to help people on my team and they never listen and say I’m bad when they have 1 more kill than me when they are a fragger and I’m a sage.

QOTD: I like playing Valorant because some days I can play like a pro and some days I'll play like a trashcan, yet it's so addicting, because I feel like there's so much I could always improve on. I don't feel like I've reached my cap like I usually do in other games. Trying new agents out is always exciting. Polishing your gameplay is still doable while joking around with your friends in unrated or even competitive. That's why I like it. It's both casual and fun, as well as tactical and addicting. Also because as a girl I've come across a lot of toxicity in other games. Valorant is the chillest one of all. Ive only come across one or two people that trashed me. Lol

QOTD: I've played many games before Valorant. I have some Paladins experience, but I've chose Valorant, because they said it works on almost every pc. My pc isn't that great and that's basically the reason to choose Valorant. I've also played a couple shooters before so abilities + gunfights together were nice and the gameplay looked amazing

QOTD; I don't play FPS at all and i used to play a lot of SC BW and SC2 WoL, About 2 years ago my friends got me into black squad and was playing that a lot. I like Valorant because atm it's a refreshing experience that i feel like i can use my brain more than a Battle royal that puts me off. I've never been good at aiming as my wrists are fucked from the old starcraft days but i feel like i can still contribute to the team with Valorant and BlackSquad

Dear Low Elo Players, please rewind #1.......listen to it again.......and then rewind one more time, and listen to it one more time. =) This is such a problem for lower elo ppl and I hear it all the time from them, in various games, where they think their KDA is all that matters and nothing else matters....the team doesn't matter, the strat doesn't mat, them feeding solely to add a kill or two to their KDA doesn't matter, etc etc. All that matters is the KDA at the end. And then they wonder why they're not in a good spot on the ladder and why their miserable. -sigh-

QOTD: I play it because it is unique and has many elements that you can use to either give yourself an edge or level out an entire playing field. It has many unbalanced concepts that need to be controlled by either being simply clever or just being instinctual at times. It is like a test that shows how much do you know about gaming and how much can you actually control at a time. It is a great way to know one's weakness, ones strength, and one's 'work under stress potential(Has around 40 percent chance to happen)'.

tbh, relying on tier lists is good for grasping the basics, then you just go with whatever's viable. Competitive tier lists are usually built around how much you need to do/know in order to use the Agent effectively. You probably shouldn't touch Viper as your first character because sure she can be devastating but amount of things you need to do right is much bigger than with other Controllers, which have use-and-forget type of kits.

I remember taking viper when the game first came out I thought she was OP hahahaha. Tbf her Ult can help pull off some decent clutches

QOTD: I've always been interested in CSGO but the lack of servers in my region and its art style were two factors that always pushed me away even after it went free to play. Valorant has pretty much everything I'm looking for and it's servers feel crisp.

I play Valorant because: 1. I used to play CSGO and Paladins. 2. I don't like going into a custom game for hours, learning lineups, but I do like using utility. 3. I like having different characters, which allow you to play differently and can suit your playstyle.

I play Valorant solo when my cs:go friends are unavailable. Just more chill place to be as solo than CS:GO imo. Probably fun with friends, but neither them or I are fans of special abilities, hence why I am playing as Brimstone for simple things such as molotov and smoke.

I came from Overwatch. It's fun that the abilities aren't overpowered like Overwatch. Also, the time to kill is shorter, so teams actually have to work out strategies instead of worrying about Ults and counter ults. Also, it feels great to be able to solo clutch in a game

I come from a CS 1.6 and Overwatch background. Definitely miss playing CS and this has a good combination of Overwatch and CS.

QOTD: I play the game because I've been looking for a good competitive fps game ever since I got my computer. By the time I had a decent computer the cs scene was already established and learning the game didn't interest me. I tried Overwatch, but the game quickly died out for me as new heros were released and we were not getting a diverse set of classes so I droped it shortly after reaching diamond for the first time. This game has a much lower learning curve than cs has, meaning I could still play it effectively without spending multiple days/weeks learning different set ups just to be viable at high tier play. But I could still lab out solo/duo executes with my friends in customs if I wanted for a much better experience. Having been placed Gold 1 and climbing to Plat 1 in 6 more games, I'm looking forward to climbing through the ranks as I have time. A note for improvement in the video, I really wish there was more talk about tier lists and effectiveness playing characters. This channel puts a LOT of emphasis on playing characters who specifically fit into categories the team needs, and it is right to do so. However, I wish there was mention of not playing a high tier character just because it is high tier regardless of your experience. Pro's state it and I know you guys would agree with it if and when it is addressed, but using a character you don't mesh with is not worth it even if you are filling that role for your team. I'm not saying a team with 2 instalock duelist definitely needs another duelist, but you shouldn't only be able to play duelists and you shouldn't be expected to fill a Sage/Cypher/Brim every round. But you should be able to play a controller/initiator as well as duelists if you main a duelist. I understand there has been talk about this in previous videos like finding your role or otherwise, but I feel like this should just be a footnote EVERY time team composition/tier lists are brought up. I'll use myself as an example. I play very aggressive, so often times I choose characters whose abilities I can either use early in the round to help rush a point\stall a push before playing aggressive myself or I play characters who complement my aggressive style. I avoid most duelists specifically because I want to have the capability to help the team as well as myself, so other than Raze (whose boom bot provides significant info and nades can stall or destroy a team trying to push/hold a choke) I avoid all duelists. I play Omen/Brim/Viper a lot because after placing all of my smokes I can use the rest of their utility freely to play as aggressive as I want. I can play initiators because getting the team onto point with me entering after bursting my utility still works. But because of this play style I never want to play Sage. Since Sage benefits greatly from playing passive most of the round or only playing aggressive when absolutely necessary. Sage may be literally the best character, but the style is so contradictory to my play style that I'm likely not to get much or any value off of her kit. So anytime our team wants a Sage and I've yet to pick I hover a controller or initiator instead and explain how sage playing passively doesn't fit my style and I'm likely to bottom frag and get a small amount of value off her abilities or still top frag but basically never use my abilities well with her.

QOTD : I came from Battlefield to Sudden Attack and CSGO. Then I quit fps for a while (5 years) because I had no friends to play with and started to play League of Legends. Then my friends for me into Fps again, CSGO. So here I am playing valorant 3 days after it’s release in the SEA server.
