Hi Matty, I loved the new GQ beard video but is it possible to go more in depth when discussing the shelf part? That's the one part I really struggle with. I have this weird curl/tornado in my beard making the right side look longer than the left. Thanks Shaz

My hair is thick but I have receding hairline in the corners. It’s always been there but I think it’s getting worse. I’m 33. A video on this would be good as I think it’s real common. Keep up the good work man! Love the vids

So I have a question what if you have a guy who doesn’t really care about his hair but he’s going bald? he wanted finger length, I told him longer is better but he didn’t seem to care. He wears a hat all the time. I still think he deserves a nice haircut but he didn’t want to veer away from finger length.

57 and bald ☹️ I just accepted it as I started thinning at 28. I can grow an ok beard so it’s all good. My wife is totally hot and doesn’t seem to care too much about the hair loss. That makes me happy. Great vid and channel. Recently subbed. 👍💯

I was told to not wet my hair every day as the act of wetting the hair weakens it, my hair is phenomenal now with just this tweek, I wash it every 7th day. The rest i just massage natural oils through hair.

that can be somewhat true for extremely long fine hair but not typically applicable for someone looking to create volume. Wetting the hair makes it more elastic while its wet... but it does't create any lasting damage. But, congratulations on finding something that works for you.

Read advice for thinning hair. Says carbon bonds are affected by moisture heat and blow drying... I'm fairly certain these are hydrogen bonds, and it is sulphur bonds affected by perms etc. Can anyone confirm my information is incorrect and this company knows what is talking about?

Hi Trex The hydrogen- carbon bond I am taking about is primarily found in protein structures. These are succeptable to heat and moisture and give the hair a certain amount of its shape. Dysulfide bonds are different. They are not sulphur but you are correct that they are affected by perming.

Essentially composed of keratin, hair also contains other elements and molecules that contribute to its appearance and behaviour. The overall chemical composition of hair is 45 % carbon, 28 % oxygen, 15 % nitrogen, 7 % hydrogen and 5 % sulphur. The hair shaft is essentially composed of keratin Apologies dysulfide is a form of sulphur. I was incorrect

There are things you can do to slow the process. See a dermatologist.

I was bald at 17. I’m 39 now. I embraced the baldness. I don’t remember what having hair was like now, but I can tell you I’ve watched countless male friends go through hair loss and they look awful trying to cling onto it. Shave it off, be comfortable with a natural process, and honestly, most women don’t really care bald or not. 10/10, best thing that ever happened to me was being bald at a young age.

Sometimes I think man having hair again would be sweet and have even looked at the different surgical options and then I shower and never have to deal with worrying about my hair and I think...this isn't so bad. Now I am trying to grow a beard. Following your instructions to just let it go. I started Feb 1st. I am thinking a full year! Thoughts? Tips? Stuff I should use to help it grow/stay healthy?

Best tip ever for thinning hair, once it starts looking like you’re trying to hide baldy areas, whip it off with a shaver and grow a great beard instead. Just stop being such a flake and embrace it, you’ll save a lot of ££ and also look a lot tougher too! Women will love it if you’re bald, confident and wear an epic beard with panache. No more tips required 👊🏻
