Hey guys! Just sharing with you things I wish I knew before I started my IVF journey. For me it was very eye opening and I had no idea what I was in for. But if I had to do it all over again, I would. It was totally worth it in the end! Thank you so much for this I didn’t expect to cry at the end because I just keep thinking “what did I do wrong??” Starting IVF next month and I feel better knowing I’m not alone ❤️

Thank you for sharing. We all have different ways. Our approaches are different too. For ones our decisions are weird, for others they are just ok. But we aren’t actually interested in others’ opinion much until its bothers or hurts us. We rarely happen to have understanding people round us. My mother-in-low always used to ask me “When I’ll have my grandchildren?” or “You’re getting older, it’s time to think…” or “Why don’t you want to become a mother?”. And some other phrases which were driving me crazy. (And this was when everyone, every cat and dog in the neighborhood knew about our problem and that we were passing our ivf treatment in Ukraine and doing all the sorts of things!!) But thankfully all this is the story of the past now. And I’ve got nothing to regret about. We have our tiny one. Let God help all of us on our paths and never lets us down for whatever the reason might be! Be all strong!

This video was so helpful. Going to do IVF next month. So excited yet nervous. We have been trying 9 years. I’m a former preschool teacher who is now currently a nanny of 4 years and love my job. It’s not as flexible as yours but wish me luck! And lots of prayers!!

Hi Paulina! First of all...congratulations!!!! And thank you for sharing your story! Im new to your channel but I really enjoyed watching the video where you and your husband found out you were pregnant which then led me to this video. Thank you for being so encouraging and sharing your positivity! It truly gave me hope in believing that there will be the blessing of a child at the end of this journey. Best of wishes!!

Does everyone need that many shots???? My doc made sound like I need one trigger shot a day whenever my nurse tells me. How often are the appointments? I did know about the butt injections as well. I can't take off of work at just any time. I was told at the very least plan for 6 days of ultrasounds and 2 full day appointments in the main office for the minor procedures and that it was a 2 month process.

I am covered my Maryland insurance. It should cover up to 3 ivf circles. Not 100% though. we pay around $6k. But it’s better than nothing.

I am starting IVF this month and i decided not to say this to anyone beca i dont want then to be asking for updates and me not having good news to give them it will put me down. I know it will be hard to go through this alone but i will stay strong 💪🏼

Just wanted to add some info for people experiencing infertility. It’s not always some problem with the woman - in about a third of the cases there is some issue with the woman, in another third of cases it’s the man and in the remaining cases it’s both or no explanation can be found. I’d recommend doing a sperm test after 6 months of TTC if you have access to it.

Yeah they don’t promote male infertility as much. I’ve been trying and getting a work up and they never even asked to check my husband...

I had my ivf and all my injections done by nurse in the same clinic.. i cannot do the shots on my self my husband as well. But all my 2 rounds of ivf failed 🥺

Thank you for sharing ! We just found out our 1 and only embryo that survived is genetically normal ( we did PGs testing ) and a baby girl 😭 💕we have had such a long journey , from ectopic pregnancy loss ( lost my right tube also) - to months of treatments- finally have some good news! We were supposed to start prepping for the transfer Monday but unfortunately due to corona we are now cancelled & postponed- knowing our baby girl is safe and frozen is so worth the wait 💕

I wish I knew how bloated I'd become! The bloat was real! I also wish I knew how emotional the 2ww wait after embryo transfer is. I'd cry non stop during those days and it was awful

I’m currently going through the same situation.. I am on my 3d day with the injections.. Unfortunately i must do the injections alone by my self… i felt so scared about this but i couldn’t do anything else because my man is working at this time that i must do the injections.. and is good for me that i don’t feel anything when i do them 😅 I feel very anxious about if i will have many eggs because i have low AMH and i feel anxious about the egg retrieval and the anaesthesia.. 😰 it will be my first time..

this was my first time too when retrieving eggs. I am happy to say I still have some frozen but please look at it differently with a positive mind. Stay strong and wishing you all the best ♥

Recently, in October 2019, Starbucks announced that it had further enhanced its benefits so that for eligible employees, they'll cover $25,000 dollars for IVF and another $10,000 for related medications per qualifying event.

I was thinking of IVF but the 1.5 inch needles for progesterone injection is Scaring me!!!

@@ruru5862 honestly I got so used to it. I definitely did not look forward to any of the shots because my arms and butt were so bruised after a while but I kept reminding myself about the bigger picture. I ended up getting Jayden out of all this and that was just the best thing ever.

My insurance won't cover a dime. My first appointment is 400 bucks. They aren't even covering my progesterone blood tests to see if I'm ovulating

My insurance is charging 15000 dollars just for injection for egg retrieval for 1 cycle. My doctor said it gonna be between 4000-10000 dollars. Does anyone have any idea how much injections cost

To grow your eggs and get them ready for retrieval. And then even more shots till I was 10 weeks pregnant

@@PaulinaAllure How was the side effects or recovery for you when taking the injections after you did the embryo transfer? were you down most of the time or were you able to still do things like normal? Congrats by the way! we are just starting our journey!
