For HK graduates who completed their post-secondary studies within the last 5 years, they can apply for a 3-yr Open Work Permit (OWP). With OWP, they don't need a job offer to come to Canada and can work for any Canadian employers. There is a pathway for OWP to PR status. Canada is giving HK citizens priority processing of work and study permits, passport, PR travel document (PRTD), visitor visa, Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), and family sponsorship.

In Canada, you need a 4-year Bachelor degree in Engineering to lead you to Professional Engineer license. Upon graduation, you are Engineer-in-Training (EIT). After working a few years under the guidance of other Professional Engineers, you can apply for Professional Engineer. A test will need to be done in engineering law, ethics, and professional liability. Get an engineering Bachelor degree from a university, not a college.

Honestly, it’s still possible but it’s definitely crunch time if you’re aiming for Jan 2023 😊🤗 also note the SP application delays from IRCC (9-13 weeks to process) so you literally need to get an LOA asap, submit a SP application shortly after and play the waiting game. If you have to rush it, I say postpone it to a later intake date. This way you have a calm mind maneuvering through your school and immigration application 🤗💕 MUCH LOVE AS WELL and BEST OF LUCK 🤞❤️ you got this!!

For Quebec residents, undergraduate tuition & fees for Bachelor of Engineering in McGill University for the entire year costs only $5,554 CAD. For international students, total tuition & fees for 2022 is $58,950 CAD. Yes, this is for 1 year according to McGill's Fee Calculator. McGill is ranked No. 1 Canadian university (Global Rank 31) by 2023 QS World University Rankings.

MCGILL is another level of beast mode. And yes, international tuition fees are always so high huhu
@smwk2017
@smwk2017 Жыл бұрын
@@rrdancel Because tuition is so low for local residents, McGill's student body is comprised of 47% Quebec residents; 23% out-of-province students (paying higher tuitions) and 30% international students (extremely high tuitions.) This is how McGill can stay competitive, becoming No. 1 Canadian university.
