@@brendadrago3743 I went on my own. I basically saved a bunch of locations I want to go to on Google Maps, so I can recommend using that if you aren't going with a guide. I also went to the breakfast house featured in this video, and it was more than worth it. It was some of the best meals I've had during my trip. I hope your trip does well!

Davud.. Your breakfast, it's seems to be very Nice and healthy and also must be delicious. Their breakfast culture is perfect one. Lots of verities to choose there. The person who serve you at the restaurant is humble and cool guy. first time i see look after Animals in a city like this. 😊 I love their softness. I was in Istanbul last May and I had my traditional kahvaltı in Van Kahvaltı Evi . Everything was delicious, very good quality food and fair price. The staff is super kind. I recommend it. I love Istanbul so much, can’t wait to come back!

I was posted in Istanbul at the old US Consulate in Beyoglu, near the Istiklal street, in 2000-2001. I have fond memories of this city. And I love Turkish cuisine. One strange but very delicious dessert I had was “tavuk gogsu”. It wasn’t made with anything strange or exotic, but a pudding made out of chicken breast is something unexpected. If you go to the Asian side of Istanbul, it’s a lot more chill and laid back than the tourist part. Just take a ferry boat or a dolmush (shared taxi). Oh yeah, maybe it’s changed now, but it does help to learn a little bit of Turkish to get by. And the locals will appreciate it, too.
