Hello everyone, Frost here. Welcome back to another classic wow video. Previously we talked about 7 fun items that can be used to fill up your limited vanilla bank space. The video recieved very good feedback, so I thought you guys enjoy this type of content. Today we're going to discuss 8 more fun items that have their roots in the original iteration of vanilla.

Savory D Delight and Noggen Fogger are what it is to be WoW. =p Dear Stay Frosty =-p When i watch the grind VoDz, theres always a zone thats not covered. Its good for 20-30 silver a mob,with freaking insane cloth aswell. And if i can remember right, it also was known for greens and blues. I wont say over general chat. If you are OG WoW then you've prolly been there a few times,but theres a big chance that there will be lvl 60's both factions grinding for gold,drops and matz. Not SM =-p...A fisherman never gives out the honey hole,unless you drop a line =-p Cheers Sur, Your Info is OutStanding!!!!! Aliens Fan by any chance???

Hey Frost, Your fishing guides are awesome, but after I asked a GM in classic, I got told that the fishing extravaganza doesn't exist in classic and won't be included therefore. Do you know about that matter? I was there on some Sundays and it really weren't ongoing :-( Best greetings!

If you disenchant Blackblade of Shahram before equiping it to free the spirit, he gives you the quest to obtain Pure Fire to cleanse the Corrupted Ashbringer. So yeah, disenchant it if you get the sword.

and if you disenchant this one, you'll get a quest for a trinket, that will summon ragnaros who's guarding you for 30 sec. Though it has a 24h cooldown it's really OP.

I only saw the Black Blade of Shahram drop twice so far in almost 14 years. The first time back in vanilla, when i was runing UBRS 3 times per night to get my lightbringer spaulders... And i lost the roll that time to a dwarf warrior with Thunderfury... I still hate you Egad! And the 2nd time didn't happen until Cata, when i got it finaly on my DK. Well, technicaly i got it again in WoD, but thats the new version, that is also now super common. But the original one, only twice. So GOOD LUCK if you gonna try to get it. Just to put it on perspective, only in vanilla, i counted 100 runs to get my lightbringer spaulders. Out of 100 runs, in my paladin, only 1 time droped. But my paladin wasn't even my main... I must have run UBRS on my warlock another hundred times... and he never saw it drop in his runs.......

The best thing about the Furbolg disguise was that you could use it on PVE servers to flag leveling players for PVP. I’m pretty sure Buzzard added it to the long list of “NO FUN FOR YOU!” items.

I used it in BWL as a Dwarf so that I could use LOS against Firemaw. Without the rod, Dwarves were unable to attack while staying out of LOS of his aoe.

in case you're wondering, this isn't because of trolling. It was "removed" along with every other quest item. Not really though, it's just that cancelling the quest would remove the item from your inventory after a certain patch. My druid got it back in the day and still has it. It's still listed as a quest item.

The Great Fras Siabi part was a bit wrong, back in Vanilla you had to loot the tobacco box on the ground (which had no loot in it) to make Fras Siabi to spawn, he wasn't just chilling out there.

Savory Deviate Delight is actually a very good PVP item for druids. When you change forms while in pirate/ninja disguise you still look like a pirate/ninja so enemies have a hard time telling in what form you are.

Quite sure vanilla up untill like mists or cataclysm druids lost absolutely every transform whenever they formed. I just distinctly remember a ton of druids crying on the forums/ingame about it. I might be wrong and/or exaggerating though.

Not really, if they click or tab you they'll see if you have a mana, energy or rage bar.

Like carrowmind said you can still see the resource bar. But it could definately be confusing in large scale pvp and battlegrounds.

I remember on my hunter farming SM from 30 to 40 and I got my mount, once I hit 55 I spent 3 weeks farming deviate fish and sold enough to buy my epic mount, I still farm the fishes and make good money

Me too! I got it near the end of Vanilla on my Fury warrior. Had to promise the raid that I was going to respec for it.

Once, I interrupted our mainhealer with a snowball at an onyxia-pull right before his first cast was finished... apperantly, he was the only one healing at this moment - the tank died, onyxia ran amok and we wiped. Good ol'times! :D Nobody ever found out who the snowball-thrower was...

i used to be the master looter with randoms on Ubrs and this dropped , back in the day only the master looter was able to see the loot so you had to link the items in chat and give it to the people who wins the rolls , the blade dropped and i didnt say nothing about it , when everyone left i kept it for me lul .

I'm not in touch with private servers anymore. I stopped playing them 1 year ago. This is an offline emulator. Maybe that's why is looking so crisp.

Savory Deviate Delight being rare early game makes it very worth to farm. Most people won't farm it. So if *you* do, you can make nice gold from selling them. Don't use them yourself at all untill later in the game (don't get high off your own supply) The recipe also makes pretty penny on the neutral AH because it's a pain in the ass for Alliance players te farm in the Barrens.

Actualy early TBC is the best, because it has ALL from vanilla plus TBC, and all classes were now viable. Late TBC they removed the atunements and that's why i say early TBC is best.

jose juan andrade tbc was amazing,easily the best for me. You still had to put effort into everything,getting reputations,attunements etc and the world was a joy to explore.much like vanilla. Everything felt unique and not on a budget like later expansions,with lazy world designs and rehashed instances etc. gearing wasn’t streamlined,you could still do anything you wanted with the stats and talents and could also gear up with so many ways. Words cannot describe how happy I was as a resto shaman when I finally got the full tidefury set. God knows how many runs I did for all these and the boots from heroic slave pens and blood furnace...

Why? You get this kind of items from retail wow ALL the time. I swear i will never understand most "vanilla was the best" only type of players. Just watch the vanilla gameplay SO fucking boring and slow, . And nobody can say anything to me because i was there playing vanilla myself i did all this things are raided like a madman. Vanilla will never be the best.

The fishing championship has many rewards right? It has the twink head of 15 stamina too, but tbh dunno how each reward works.. maybe the type of fish you get

Yea, there was an arcanite fishing pole with +35 fishing or the hook of master angler. The hat was from something else, but from the same event.

The fishing pole is the best reward if you fish. The hook is the best if you dont fish, and the twink hat is for if you twink at lv 19.

Hahaha I remember me and my friends would get the Furbolg desguise and run around Ashenvale ganking people in Furbolg form. When people died to it they would take a couple of seconds before releasing and process what just happened. Good times.

This is a questgiver i ber well for its long questline and endboss -Apothecary Lydon Apothecary Lydon is a level 35 quest giver located in Tarren Mill in the contested territory of Hillsbrad Foothills. He is a member of the Royal Apothecary Society. Though strongly dedicated to the Dark Ladyand the advancement of the Forsaken, he suffers from severe depression. The only thing that cheers him is the suffering of the living. He has a frog named Umpi whom he refers to as his "assistant" but treats with a lethal callusness. He poisons the dog Stanleyas a test and for fun. In Classic you can use it to juke interrupts in pvp since the animation looks exactly like a heal and classic has no default enemy cast bars. Even enemy players with castbar addons may fall for it as they are likely to instinctively react to the healing animation instead of read what spell you're casting first. It's a really awesome trick.

@@alexanderrahl7034 There's a video of Esfand juking a mage counterspell with it in the Classic beta. IIRC Hearthstones used to be usable in combat and I once had a druid juke my CS with his hearthsone in a duel too.

LOL you just said you don't have to travel far for Dartol's Rod of Transformation WTF?@?@ FYI for At that level 25-28ish, the rayne's quest line requires tons of moving around one of the largest zones in the game: Ashenvale without a mount. This quest line will put you back at least 1 hour maybe 2 hours from a normal leveling speed. Since you don't turn in the last quest you miss out on a huge portion of xp when you keep the rod.

black blade of shahram is pretty shitty early on it has a really fast speed, gets changed to 3.5 later in vanilla

Savory recipe is not rare. Just quest your alt in barrens and you will nearly always drop 1 in the end
