Oh, thank you, Angela! At first I thought you meant that your grandfather would be upset that I ruined that old radio. Whew! So glad you liked it. It was extra work trying not to damage the clock, so I was relieved at the end to plug it in and see that it still worked! 😀

My mother was very crafty when it came to repurposing stuff from around the farm for indoor and outdoor decor about 50 years before it became trendy. We never threw anything away and I still pick up stuff around the farm and out of my Dad’s tobacco barn to repurpose. I ran across a box full of Christmas cards collected over the years..not sure what the plan is but I drug them home.

I have been viewing Christmas DYI videos on KZfaq for years. They have for the most part all been done before and are boringly repetitious. You never cease to amaze me! I was sufficiently impressed when you made a bird cage ornament out of literally nothing, but then you go and "trim" vintage sheet music to a snowflake by catching it on fire! 😂 I don't know how you think of all these things! The angel wings were my favorite. I could see that piece being seasonal, or even adorning a wall in a shabby chic room with a centerpiece of pastel pink roses and cream-colored lace ribbon!

The radio diorama and the vintage card wreath. But- -I was amazed when you did the snowflake and set the paper on fire! Who knew!? I've ALWAYS loved dioramas ever since I was a child. They fascinated me. I was given diorama eggs as a child too and kept them til the sugars turned yellow 💛 😉

I, too, am having a much harder time lately finding nice clocks to use for projects. I actually bought two off Facebook Marketplace to use for Christmas projects because I wasn’t seeing anything at the thrift stores.
