What a wonderful game!!! I met this young guy and his folks. It was a real honor to meet Henrik and his wonderful family. I told his mother he looks like He-Man !!! It was good to see him play live and direct vs The Shark !!!!!!! MUcho Love to Yalll !!!!!!!!!

Bad loss for rob, the game changed when he played h5, allowing Qxg6+... And instead of trying to sac the rook to get the mate on g7, just triple stack the heavies by bringing the rook to g2, and black is toast. How bout that kid?

I'm not familiar with jewish abrahamic sand box tales, must be where dragon ball z got their idea that the strength comes from their hair as well (not familiar with that show really either other than that concept). Rob could have easily flagged the little man, very gentlemanly of him to forfeit especially after he was completely destroying the kid you could see how unhappy he was...kid may never play again if he doesn't get to have that win under his belt. Thanks for sharing. A great example of how one should behave.

@@user-gu9uj1qb6v After Kh7 Rhxh5+ Bh6, black is indeed stopping the checkmate by blocking with the Bishop, but then white has a rook sacrifice with Rxh6+. Black is forced to recapture, then White takes black's free Rook on g8. This answers the original commenters question as to why white is crushing (Since Black must lose all their pieces to avoid getting checkmated)
