Great video. What were you mopping onto it please?

Seems good. One thing that makes it bad is the fact that the skin is burnt. Don't know if that is from the sauce you mopped on there but the skin should not be black. South Florida here saying this.

I noticed that too. I wonder what he mopped it with.

Did you have to add charcoal during the cook?

Thank you for watching, I tried to keep the temp between 270 and 300- would have like to have it at 250 but just couldn’t get the temp down. I had it on the pit for 8 hours. Internal temp was 180 to 210 when I pulled it off. Let it sit for an hour before I started breaking it down

Wow, that’s a lot of work! Kelley was a trooper for helping heave that hog on the rotisserie. Did the pups get the ears? That hog meat was delicious, thanks for catering our Family Day!

Seems / sounds like the Smoke Daddy worked out well for you then? I'm thinking about picking one of these up for lamb roasts, maybe pig, and so am interested in the overall quality and ease of use. Thanks for the great video!

Very good, young man. Unfortunately my patio isn't big enough to handle the size of equipment needed to do the job. Buit there is always FedEx overnight shipping if you ever make too much.😁

Nice piggy. I need to do a pig someday myself. I think I'll go with a 50 lb on my first. Have a great day. 🐷🌤😁👍

The skin got pretty dark. Did you use the gas IR burners. I found them too hot for cooking. Maybe just use them for searing at the end.
