You should make a video about why parents shouldn't just ditch young kids at the skateparks without teaching them etiquette. Like I weigh 85kg and my bike weighs 11kg so in total 96kg which is a similar weight to a smaller motorbike and if I was stunting and a kid got in the way and the momentum behind my weight is more than enough to seriously injure and perhaps even kill a child, not enough parents take this in and it's seriously concerning

Panza, I wanted to let you know I had a buddy that built bikes for Walmart, he got paid piece work...so he would assemble a bike out of the box and the faster he did it the more he made. I believe he got about $5 per bike assembled so he didn’t really care about craftsmanship. So yeah, buy your own bike and build it yourself.

@AnttiBrax
@AnttiBrax 3 жыл бұрын
Google search isn't research and Wikipedia isn't deep dive. The assumption that employee age would be a reason for the bad quality assembly was totally off. The reason is they're not allowed to use enough time for each bike (assembly quota). Also thinking that minimum wage means they don't respect their jobs was legit elitist. It means their employers don't respect it.

Honestly, a bottom range complete is a good place to start to see if you're really into it. I broke alot of shit on my WTP curse, bent axles, cracked frame, bent dropouts, stripped the handlebars (that was my fault though) popped serveral tubes due to single wall wheels. But alot of the eclat parts on the bike I've transferred over to my WTP battleship frame. Keep in mind that I am a heavier guy with very aggressive riding style and it was over a year and a half that I was breaking these parts, Sunday primer or wtp curse are the way to go if you aren't 100% committed

I got 2021 Sunday Forecaster and its held up for a good 2 years, few scratch's but that's guaranteed to happen, its great and its decently light, fun to use, And I don't think I'm going to get rid of it anytime soon.

That’s why I saved up my money when I was a kid for a GT Dyno. Sure it was a Zone (one of the cheaper ones) , but I got tired of breaking Murray’s and Huffy’s, most of which were used anyways… we didn’t have a lot of money when I grew up. Dad and I would clean up and fix used bikes (that we usually got for free). Sometimes we’d even paint them! I saved up money for several years for a Dyno. And when I got half the money saved up, my dad surprised me and took me to the bike store to pay the rest. I felt like a million bucks and the build quality was far superior to anything I’d ever seen before! It was one of my fondest childhood memories and I still have that bike to this day

Obviously second hand bikes can be sketchy, but if you can find a legit listing of a decent bike with a good description on it, go for it!

Now I have a 24" Pacific Banshee. I got it for $10 at a thrift shop in Florida and immediately taco'd the "Big Pig" rims it came with. Dude, Walmart doesn't build the bikes, they just sell them. And the bikes aren't tuned up because it's a marketing strategy to get you to buy more things for it such as air pump and allen keys while you're there.

Please for the sake of your sanity do not get a low dollar kink bike, literally every single part on them breaks in less than a years riding not even riding hard. My first bmx was a kink gap xl and that's their 350 one and I broke the frame, a crank, the bars, both wheels, I've since replaced those parts with parts from a reputable company and haven't had a single issue.

Back in my day, lol which wasnt crazy long ago for me..but in 1999-2000. I rode bmx hardcore. Haro's, s&m, and trek's were big in my town. Top of the line bikes were like 400 to 700-800$..And Top of the line Mtn bikes were 1000-1400$..now seems prices have doubled..crazy!. I had a Haro backtrail x1 that i upgraded to a x3 with a gt 3 piece crank, Alex triple wall custom rims and hubs, 14m axles front and back, over sized chain and sproket, upgraded the headset stem to the haro big block one, had some dave mirra knee saver 4 piece handle bars. Haro Mirra seat..no brakes of course😁. I had about 700$ into that bike. Bought it with my first job.. a paper route..had it for like 3 years..then got it jacked at a 711 when I was 17..after that got a s&m and hooked it up about the same way as the haro..sold that one on craigslist for 150$ like an idiot for gas money and other stuff lol...when I was like 20..Its crazy thou to see how bmx has progressed, changed and how its gotten a little more expensive..but that's the same with everything nowa days. Love the vids thou panza bro! Takes me back.

Looks? Only reason I can think of. But yeah. Seems excessive considering most jump (mtb) bikes don't have them as standard. Can't really comment on BMX bikes having gyros as standard due to knowing very little about them. But I'm guessing they don't either (ones with brakes) most of the time.
@404notalive
@404notalive 4 жыл бұрын
I have no idea why they have a gyro or pegs. But it's like they are trying to fit into the BMX industry. But they know they can't. So they'll make it look like a BMX. But in truth, it's not a BMX. BMX's are supposed to be able to handle the abuse from jumps, tricks, etc. But no the bikes can't handle it. The design of any BMX part is meant to do what I just said. But if a BMX cannot handle fuck all then it's not a BMX. It's a pile of shit.

Haha! I actually just broke my Kent bike a few days ago. Found it in my garage, i hadnt ridden it in about 4 years and decided to take it for a spin at my local trails, as it’s a full suspension. It was a 20” wheel MTB bike with about 5 cm of front fork travel, I’m 14 and 5’11 so it was obscenely small. Literally bottomed out the front suspension bunny hopping. Anyways, I’m shredding a huge hill and at the bottom the back tire just locks up and you can hear a metal grating sound. Turns out, I got off to see the hill had literally made the derailer fly off the mount into the spokes. Yeah, always remember: buy a reliable bike that’s built to last. You don’t want to cheap out when a malfunction could mean serious injury. Haha, that was not a fun day

My brother had a Mongoose Scan R70 in gold and it’s an amazing bike. The frame is full chromoly and so are the bars, fork, cranks, and a bunch of other parts. It was amazing but the only bad part was it was a little heavy, just a bit heavier than the average high end BMX bike, also the chain broke which some other people have reported with this bike but that was an easy fix, I took all the stickers off, took off the reflectors and chain protectors and the breaks and it was perfect. It looks amazing and the best part is it was only $279 new and I think you can still get it on amazon.
