AmnScottNN you'd be surprised how light a truck can be if you know what you're doing. It's not like the old days when the only options were fiberglass and only removing dead weight.

PORKER skank It depends on how far you want to go really. If you still want it to be a street vehicle then I'd suggest not going with full fiberglass or carbon fiber front clip or doors, they get ruined fast on the street. Typically you can get out around 300 to 400lbs by a carbon hood, lighter wheels, removing spare tire, switching to a roll pan, removing various brackets, switching to lighter suspension, exhaust and any unneeded interior pieces. You could take out anywhere from 1000 to 1500lbs by stuff mentioned above along with a carbon panels, lighter seats, removing a/c, air box, unneeded wiring, glass bumpers ect. If you're wanting to go crazy you could remove up to 2000lbs maybe more by doing all this along with a tube chassis, lexan, removing bed floor, door panels, basically everything that isn't used to go fast but like I said, it's all about how far and fast you wanna go.

juan razo you're an idiot, the truck has been on the original 4.8 for a full year with more than 100 runs on the stock bottom end gen 3 AND the same trans, the only thing he has changed is the stall and it's seen more than 26 psi, it's at 23 psi on this vid though, and it runs a 9. Full weight truck. I know because I tune it.

That being said these trucks are fucking fast.
