Ok, its not peppy, at all, but i rock high 40s for mpg. At idle, its still quiet. I really am impressed. Now, im sure the way i tale care of it has a lot to do with it. The oil cap says "5w20". The manual says ypu can use "5w30" and if hot enough, 10w30. I have been using 5w30 synthetic oil and a good filter like Mobil 1 every 4k. I check and add any oil if necessary between oil changes. Solid video! My 2019 Accent 1.6 Gamma GDI runs really well on 91 octane - Thankfully / surprisingly the ECU allows the car to take advantage of its high compression and direction injection. 👍 The engine is significantly more zippy on 91 and the fuel economy improves around 5 MPG on the highway. I ran several tanks of 94 octane and even a couple 98 octane tanks to test the limits of the stock ECU. Performance and gas mileage suffered with any octane higher than 91. Shortly after I had a P0420 code and had to replace the catalytic converter (covered under warranty). The super high octane fuel not only hurt performance but they also damaged the cat. Figured I'd share my experience. This motor was designed to run 91 octane exceptionally well and completely changes the character of the car in my opinion.
