Yeah, good company. They’re called Leonardo now though, because they’re 100% owned by them, and they’re majority owned by the Italian government. Still repair and maintain great helicopters though. Shame they haven’t retooled their machinery in 50 years, everything’s made 100% from hand and they can only make about 30-40 heli’s a year, which they mostly put together from kits. Other than that though we like them round Yeovil way and glad they didnt knock it down - just sold it off like almost everything else 😀

@@williamroberts9394 Yes, I'm afraid your right. Served my apprenticeship at the Fairey Aviation Division and didn't see a new machine tool enter the works in all the time I was there, they relied so much on, as you say, the skills and ingenuity of the workforce. Having said that, it was a great place to learn a trade, which has served me well all my life.

Did he say jet skis? "Wildcat Niner, this is Beach Patrol Alpha. We have a jet ski refusing to come to shore. Target has been out for 36 minutes already but only paid for a 30. You have the green light to engage...."

you are suggesting to use attack helicopters on migrants? It's a good thing you are just a random youtube commenter and not in any position of power.

@@karl2851 The government could reinstate the funding it removed from the immigration office to allow it to process immigrants both here and in France. Oddly enough that system worked well but the tories wanted to create this crisis, so withdrew funding, thus causing back logs and encouraging immigrants to take their chances (If they are in France, they are in a safe country, they could have been processed there cheaply and France would have taken care of sending them back). Yes the Rwanda deal is costing far far more than what funding the immigration system would have cost, along with giving Rwanda the right to send whoever it likes here, so it's not going to reduce immigration numbers. However, certain tories and their friends are making sweet sweet money out of it.
