Beautiful truck man. Reminds me of mine, except mine's a little more beat up. What kind of paint does she have on her? It looks great. Also, what material did you use on the bedliner? Definitely one of the best looking C10s I've seen here on KZfaq!

450-475+ but not feelin 600hp.. maybe @ 7000rpms !! 600hp doesn't need a break stand to spin tires, I do it all day rolling @ 30mph.. nice truck bro Engine sounds very well built.. I would need to know the cam and comp specs to know what its pushing for sure, but its very healthy none the less..

I have an 85 C10 I am almost finished with a full resto. 383 Stroker. I am really looking for build info regarding rear end and suspension setup. Your rear tire size is exactely what I am wanting to do to mine. I would really appreciate feedback as to tire size, and width of axle and rear tub size you used. daniel roddenberry you're talking about an American v8. the only tuning you need to do is at the drag strip. if he wanted to maximize it for the track..then he would dyno tune it...but at 600hp, whats the point? i can see 800hp+ or fuel options tune...one for race gas and one pump

Dyno tuning is beneficial for any hp level, i do in a few hours what may take a year at the track, you would be surprised at how far off the tune can be. And for the record a 600hp naturally aspirated sbc takes some fairly serious hardware, it's doable for sure, I've found that most people that have 450hp think it's 600!

Like others have said, that's not 600 h.p., not even close. With the mild cam and aluminum heads it's closer to 425-450, max! I had the same setup in my '85 GMC, with a 2,300 lockup converter and built 700R4. With the Extreme Energy cam I was running, floor it on the interstate at 70 m.p.h. and it'd keep you pushed back in your seat until you let off the loud pedal.

You need to put some rubber grommets around the battery cables so they don't short on the bed. That is a nice clean straight truck. You MIGHT be pushing 400HP, but not anywhere near 600.

makes me wish i woulda took like vids of mine before i totatled it out. Not sure on power, but shop est. it at about 500 at the wheels, fun to hear and drive! AAlso, i'm really questioning that hp ya'll advertising, cus mine would ball a 18" pair of drags without even touching the brakes.
