🇵🇭 Meet Lolo Fernando, The Legendary 82 Years Old Blind BALUT VENDOR of Biñan, Laguna! One of his eye is blind while the other is already blurry. He rely on the honesty of people when they are paying him.
A concern netizen sent me a photo of Lolo and told me about his situation. I have soft spot sa mga elders, na sana ay nagrerelax nalang while on their golden age pero in reality marami pa din sakanila ang kumakayod para sa pamilya. The very same day, I traveled to Laguna dumaan sa madugong SLEX na may forever ang traffic 😂 just to reach Lolo, and there he is! Late at night at nagtitinda pa din ng Balot. 😭
Pinakyaw ko na lahat ng paninda, sinobra sobra na po natin ang bayad para makatulong sakanya at kinuha ko na lahat ng paninda at inihatid si lolo ng safe sa kanyang bahay to make sure hindi makulit si lolo at ititinda pa din nya ang kanyang mga balut.😅
I made him a promise na babalikan ko sya, medya late na kase so I had to go home and let him rest na. Until I see you again lolo salute to all Balut Vendors out there!! Mabuhay po Kayo! 💪🇵🇭
