Chuck Norris has been the world karate champion for six years, so he has pride in that. He didn't answer about a fight with Bruce Lee, but the questioner asked who he thought would win if they fought. Chuck Norris immediately answered that it would be Bruce Lee. The only person who could beat Chuck Norris at that time was Bruce Lee.

Bruce was a prodigy in his chosen art. People like Bruce seem to get away with 4 hours sleep. Nikola Tesla needed only 4 hours, apparently. Bruce had a bad reaction to a headache medicine, which killed him, sadly. Brandon was taking anti-inflammatory medication and was accidentally shot with wadding from a gun. They couldn't stop the bleeding, wouldn't clot. That's why I believe!

Bruce Lee was a hero for Chinese culture but in the end some were not so happy with Lee. Number one Bruce Lee abandoned his rising Chinese base to return to America to do Enter The Dragon which starred Chuck Norris, I can see why Chuck suspects foul play. Bruce Lee didn't finish the movie Enter the Dragon, it was finished aferr his death. The second reason is the most crucial motivation for those who murdered Lee. Bruce Lee was a Wing Chun artist which he used the base to create Jeet Kune Do. Wing Chun had been supposedly created by a Chinese Buddhist Nun who wanted to create a style women could use to defend themselves. Well Bruce Lee was a historian too and was well versed in Wing Chun so he did some digging and traced the roots of Wing Chun to the Philippines. That's right Wing Chun descended from stick fighting and many of the moves matched up with the old Wing Chun system with different names. Bruce Lee was excited about his discovery even choosing his top disciple a Phillino named Dan Isato, he is the current heir to Jeet Kune Do. But the important part is that if Bruce Lee would have lived instead of us thinking of China we would be thinking Philippines. Some Chinese loyalists could not live with this so they killed Bruce over this inheritance. That's my take on it. And I came to this conclusion a couple decades back and some Philippine masters confirmed it they felt I was right.

I believe that none came from the Middle East before she went through the PI on her way to settling in China. I think the Masters at the temple were upset for other reasons... and they asked Bruce to stop... 1- teaching arts from other disciplines mixed with Chinese arts learned from the Temple. 2- teaching them to WESTERNERS! CHINA HATES AND IS THE SWORN ENEMY OF EVERYONE ON THIS CONTINENT!

I have read Bruce wanted Joe Lewis for the Coliseum fight seen. Joe turned it down because he did not want to be the loser. So Chuck was the 2nd choice.

It is what it is and it still exists to this day! Bruce Lee wasn't given his chance here in America so he had to go to Hong Kong to be become famous here in America. Of course than you have a European like Chuck who automatically is #1 here. Like I Said it is what it is and it's what you do afterwards like Bruce did. Bruce s legacy has lived on through all of us. That is why he is a true legend

Yeah I agree... Grand Masters at the Temple did not like 2 things... 1- mixing arts is not permitted at the Temple! 2- they absolutely DESPISED the fact that Bruce taught Shaolin secrets to WESTERNERS! I know Bruce did NOT honor the request by the Temple to stop these practices, and I think that this is what earned him being TOUCHED... RIP Bruce! IDK if it's fact, but there was an old man on his death bed in the mountains of China who admitted being sent to exercise the TOUCH of Bruce.
