To anyone still checking this out, True North Concepts makes an adapter from Omnivore to Qls and a pretty universal adapter holster. Both made from aluminum. Just got the QLS adapters and they are very nice.

I also use the Omnivore as a range holster with the QLS, the Streamlight version. What I ended up doing was an interface plate out of 6061 aluminum. In my opinion this holster is the best Blackhawk product they currently offer. Thanks for the video!

Just did this myself, worked perfectly. Wanted to reuse the existing holes so I only managed to get 2 screws in, but very solid. The advice about the washers was fantastic.

Magpul needs to come out with a holster attachment system like they did with M-Lok that holster makers can adopt so we have a universal system.

I use the Omnivore Holster with a Safariland QLS and I did not have to use the washers as spacers and I’m using the Safariland screws. No clearance issues at all.

I have a few guns that I could only find holsters for at Blade-Tech. I had to do the same modifications. Tier 1 holsters use the Safariland hole pattern already. My QLS's came with a rubber washer and I use those for spacing. All work awesome but the Omnivore is next. Thx for the video

Did the same thing didn’t use any washers and mine clears it just fine. Also didn’t have any issues with the Screws being to long.

Super Late here!! An adapter between Safariland and Blackhawk exist, even better if you have 3D printer you can print one at home. If not they sell em for $8 plus shipping.

The omnivore has potential to be so much more if they just increased the height of the side wall to cover the firearm more and cover the trigger a little more.

They would really need to improve the locking mechanism. It wears down over time and will fail during a gun grab. It is fine for range work, just not a duty option.

You mentioned #12 washers. I went to a hardware store and they only go by inches. So, what size washer you use? Thanks for your help and keep up the good work.

I finally found the stainless steel washer. I found #8 which is a 7/16 inch works fine. I went to Lowe's. If you want to use the Safariland unto your Blackhawk Omnivore holster.

Have you used the CH Precision Weapons optics plates for the 19/17 mos and the Trijicon rmr? Or do you use the factory plates & screws?

Would the omnivore work with the Beretta 92A1 with the appropriate weapon light attached? It doesn’t list it on their figment chart. Thank you!

I can confirm that it works with the Wilson Combat Brigadier, but I have not confirmed it with the 92A1. It should fit.

I have the same for my p226 with TLR1-HL .. now i will change and buy the surefire x300u-a ... Is it possible this omnivore to fit also my x300u-a or i have to buy another ?
