856 Returns w a "Greeting" from 32 Chunk, Then a Lil Rest. 6/27/24
Looks like in hierarchy, 32 Chunk is in top slot, as of right now. Not a major kerfuffle at all..., more like a statement. 856 stands still for quite some time (I edited down for time sake)..then, walks over to island for a lil rest, and a few lickety lips (his trademark)... So happy he's here!

I agree. With 32 pushing 856 back then turning his back on him and walking away shows quite a bit of confidence and dominance over 856!

Thanks for posting I missed first kerfuffle. 856 is looking absolutely dashing but a little older this year. Having seen both Chunk and 747 turn and walk away from him I am hoping for a more chilled out pecking order giving the Hunk of Chunk his turn at the top for a while at least. 747 is just here for the fish!

I love 856, as he is an impressive and gorgeous bear! He runs a tight ship and keeps things organized. 32 Chunk is my favorite and he has worked hard to get where he is in the hierarchy. Last year he was number 2, this year he showed up on a mission. All the bears look really good this season! It will be interesting to see how the hierarchy pans out. It’s still early and they can change places in it mid-season too. Thx for the video!❤

Well so far it's 32 Chunk , however I think 856 was just tired from his long walk to get to the falls too. Thanks for the great video JM

I felt a little sorry for 856. He looked rather dejected as he turned and trudged away. But as you say, he may simply have been tired. He did settle right down for a rest. However, if he has to take a step back, I hope it's for Chunk!

856 Looks exhausted. Not sure if he was also nursing his right front paw? I feel like Chunk arrived early knowing his time has come. Would like to see a more mellow 856 even though his fighting skills are top notch. The Chuck Norris of Brown Bears… 🐻🥋

I have been waiting for this. After chunk dominated 747 again as he did all last year and his patrolling the falls this year like he owned them I had a feeling the much younger Chunk would finally take over the top of the hierarchy. Age has caught up to 856.

Otis never took any crap from 856. They had some heated discussions. Otis usually ignored him. He wants fish.

@@GT-mn3bx Otis was always dominated and displaced by 856 and other bears . Otis has been among the bottom tier of the hierarchy for many years.

@@snappingbear Agreed, but he navigated it well. He always has gained the weight and thrived. I hope we see him again, but time catches up with us all. 856 probably just wants to eat fish and lay in the sun.
