(86) Flower dip with plastic bag filled with air

First time tried Flower dip with plastic bag filled with air. I like the result, but I added too much white. I will do series of paintings with this technique with same colours, but different order and layering. I'm so excited to see what I can do. :D
Colours:
- cerulean blue hue
- alizarian violet
- naples yellow
- yellow green
- deep green
- metalic white
- titanium white
All my paints are mixed with acrylic primer in 1:1 ratio.

Hi, I love your work. I tried the plastic bag and it did a great job. Then I got to thinking and I put some water in the bag. I held it by the corners and laid it down. The results were wonderful. I did not have to think about how much pressure to put down. Also, I found that it works really well to wrap the dip from the front along the side. The water just allows this to wrap effortlessly. Keep making this world more beautiful and have a very blessed life. Margaret Beaty

FIONA, I LOVE THIS ONE !! 😍 Just that little bit of pulling of blue into the center creating petals made ALL the difference! W O W! It's SO fun watching you when you rescue the result you don't like so much. I can tell it's hard to stop fiddling with it. I'd be the same way I think. 😊

I love this Fiona. What a great idea using the bag. I’m in the USA and we are also having lousy weather. The other day the sun peaked through for about 4 hours and I had forgotten the sky was actually blue and not gray lol

It’s hard to explain I can’t find any one thing wrong. I do find I am quite clumsy using the little wooden sticks to put the paint down. I think I just need to watch your videos again and practice practice practice .I guess I just expect mine to look as beautiful as yours on the first try. Ha ha Ha I will keep trying though.

Fiona. I think you need less white base. Drain off excess white paint. Figure get clearer. What do you say?
