For question 7, this is my country. Please, I hope everyone's to wish that the war is stopping and returning to our houses. Actually, in the war, I started to listen to your podcast to improve my English, especially my listening, and that helped me so much, and I want to thank you for your effort. Happy New Year 😊

Stephen said that in Spain people get his retirement at 67 age, it's true but there are two important exceptions, if a citizen paid his taxes for more than 38 years, the age is 65, and if a person was fired for an ERE ( a colective get fired), the age even is lower, 63. The amount of the pension it depends on in a progressive method, of how many years you paid and the amount of taxes you paid.

The world's largest earthquake repeated twice in a row in Turkey on February 6, 2023, and 4 cities were destroyed :( Syria was affected by the earthquake. We are still healing the wounds of these people. Thank you for including such important information. (We can never forget the support of the Spanish, the Chinese and our dear neighbor Greece.)

Oh,i have been expecting this one ! I remember last year i listened 2022's one during shoveling the snow. Today I have to shove the snow,becouse tons of snow is falling right now in Hokkaido Japan.i hate shoveling snow,of course,but i would enjoy it today as i do it with listening to this. Thanks a lot. Luke's expression and Stephen's were kinda an interesting contrast 😅 I don't have a TV at home either. I only look for specific things I want to know online, so of course, I'm not aware of most of the things happening in the world, fortunately, I'm old enough to know what I need to do, at least for now lol Stephen's expression seems always confident. That's a good thing as well. And kudos 👏 to be eco-friendly by using reusable utensils!

It’s It's unbelievable that nearly a year has passed since we experienced that horrific tragedy. People living in and around those cities are still trying to recover from what they went through. 😢

Do you mean the earthquake? In February, I have heard some news about one rescue team, that saved 6 (or maybe 12?, I'm not sure now) human beings. It makes me think about numbers. Does it even count? What it is: 6 persons, there are so many victims anyway... But every single life is one and only. It's obvious. Sadly, I noticed, that not only politicians use numbers to manipulate public opinion. However, thank you for telling us about the real life after that tragedy.

You laugh at France's pension policy - they are arguing about the transition from the 62 to the 64 retirement age, and it’s very funny to hear from Britain, the Netherlands, Germany, where the retirement age is 65-68 years. We have 60 in Ukraine though.
