We got a 8630 with a rebuild 8650 engine in it, I keep it really nice and I like seeing videos of other people having the same appreciation for these machines as I do.

I spent many thousands of hours in one, I enjoyed every minute of the time. It was a very pleasant tractor to drive.

I remember as a kid in the early 80's riding and eventually getting to drive an 8630! what a beast of a tractor then!nice work on the project!

Shouldn't have rebuilt it , Deere had a 50 series replacement program, or do a kinze repower , was the best option, use the old engine on an irrigation pump or a generator where it could loaf and not get stressed .
