My old stomping ground 33 years ago. Can’t believe the Queen’s Head has gone😢 Bridge Street used to be heaving with revellers every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, all well dressed, moving from Yate’s Wine Lodge at the bottom to The Old Ship at the top. Then it turned into a ghost town after Manton Colliery closed down. More coppers than pub-goers. Sad, very very sad. Times change, but not always for the better.

the queens is about to re open as a vietnamese restuarrant , little do many people know the occupiers are involved in al kinds of criminal activities including money laundering & human trafficking , i have already reported the issues to immigration enforcement authorities
