If you slow the playback speed down to its slowest setting during the auditory effect at the end where it sounds like the note is getting higher and higher, you can still hear the effect even though it only makes the tone every couple seconds

Round 4 is similar to the trick that magicians use to make rain float. Properly timed strobe effects to illuminate the subject and create an illusion of movement or lack thereof.

Green Needle/Brain Storm is actually both. They're both in there layered over each other but one is pitched up and one is pitched down and the one you hear without prompting is determined by whether you're more sensitive to higher pitches (ie younger). When prompted you can hear both

It wasn’t until Dani chimed in at 15:25 with his own “ba-ba” iteration that it *_DID_* actually start to sound louder…but, when they switched screens the sound _slowly_ went back to sounding how I originally heard it. 🤯 “Yer a wizerd, Dani!” 🤣

The sounds are not looping, but the whole pattern is. Basically the sounds are paired in semitones and the illusion is possible by using an octave effect, whereas when the tone reaches the pair B-C, the upper tones in the octave is gradually silenced, while the bottom octave tones are emphasized.

For people confused with the sound - it is not just LOOP - it is 11 seconds of many different tones being played, ( ( and the higher (second) note is always a lower one, when compared to the previous High note - but the illusion of increment in pitch , is actually the increment between the two notes. ( so it;s like 7-9,5-8,3-7 ) )

For the first one, I thought we were considering everything in the image. I didn't see curves in the green parts, but a lot of the little grey rock looking shapes had curves. So I was like "yeah I see them. I see A LOT of them" 🤣

I'm a very, very amateur magician. Mostly card & coin tricks. And I was always tempted to do the pencil thing with my grandkids but the last thing I wanted was for them to stick pencils in their ears so that's one that they never saw when they were younger. I have pulled quarters out of many, many tiny ears tho lol

On the one with the frozen lake. If you stare at a waterfall for about 30 seconds then look to the right or left it looks likes the rocks are moving. Very trippy.

Brainstorm is the right answer because it is a voice box from a game named Brainstorm. There are psychological reasons the poor quality sounds like green needle but that thing says brainstorm.

On the Parolex affect one. The one with the frozen lake.... I did a funny thing like this with ducks. Where if someone follows along the edge of a river or pond, the same way that a duck or ducks are swimming. The ducks will get wierded out. And turn around. Going the oposite way. Really funny if the person turns around with them...

In the first one when you move your eyes around looking for curved lines you start seeing curved shaped, but the real curved lines are in the C and the D at the top
