This week I removed the blower to replace the damaged spacer gasket.
I learned this week there are two different gaskets, One for gasoline and one for alcohol. You are never too old to learn. Thanks for watching.

Have you ever used the permatex spray copper gasket spray? it doesn't glue the gasket like regular gasket stuff. it just kind of helps it hang on a little more. And I wonder if the belt tensioner may have done something weird? Could it have pulled down to much on the snout and let the gasket blow out like that? Either way. That is an amazing machine you have there sir.

No, I never tried that. The methanol dissolved the gray blower gasket. Alky digger sent two gaskets, one for the top and one for the bottom. The green gasket is made for methanol and the gray gasket is made for gasoline. Still learning. Thanks for watching

You remember where you got that rear pressure relief plate and what pressure those springs are?

I bought the intake manifold with the blow off plate from Alkydigger. The instructions said to compress the springs to 3/4 of a inch.in stalled Not sure what pressure that is. Most blower intake manifolds come with a burst panel.

@@Layznc I found where alky digger gets them from. I did not however ask for the burst plate. I'm thinking 1 inch 5/8 round 20psi should work. I've messed with turbos and centrifugal blowers, but never blown alky
