I wonder if SnowRunner has a mod for a 60, 80, or 100 series Toyota Land Cruiser. Would be cool for the Land Cruiser fans out there (like me)!

Hey Jeff! I use high gear when auto starts shifting too much. Sometimes auto thinks it can shift into 3rd or 4th gear. The truck ends up slowing down and starting over in 1st gear. High keeps the truck moving at a steady pace under load. If you go too slow the engine will stall.

I was just watching your old snow runner videos a couple hours ago, wishing there was more and also wishing there was either an XJ mod or a ZJ mod

Love the XJ jeep really love that era of jeeps 80's to 90's era. Even from 80's back am an old school jeep fan more then a modern jeep fan because all the newer jeeps all look the same anymore. And love how it has the engine sounds of a 4.0 high output engine from Chrysler at that time era.

I have a 01' XJ. Very nice model, the Dash is spot on!

I used to have a '94 red 2 door lifted 3", loved it, that is definitely the '97-'01 interior though. Have had 4 of these things and loved the '99 and '89 the most but my new '94 I run now is a 5 speed with a flowmaster and no cat. I've only had to do starters and power steering pumps but they have all been well over 200,000 miles. They are getting expensive and harder to find in good condition now.

As an owner of a 99 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) mines a second gen, I can testify that the interior is amazing.

hey Jeff, This is a Jeep Cherokee Sport or also known as an XJ. It is a 88 body with the dash board from a '97-'01

Now this makes me miss my old XJ. She may have been as old as me, rode hard by the previous owner, and almost completely rusted out underneath, but she was an absolute blast to play around with. Plus who didn't love that tank of an I6.

I use High Gear when I know I can get through something. I also use it when I want to go fast-ish on road, but also control my speed. High gear, to me, is low++. That’s how I kinda treat it sometimes.

Hey Jeff. High range is used for road driving. Means you can have higher top speeds. I Don’t really use it much on snow runner.

Ah, an ancient Cherokee Sport! Loved those models (also the Comanche) and even some of the 90s models, even though I'm not a Jeep enthusiast in the least. They had a cool look though, like the Isuzu Troopers of the same era. Man, USPS might as well be dead to me. They lost 2 of my wifes Christmas packages and I'm still waiting on a refund for the insurance claim... Thank God I'm not dependent on them for life-dependant meds! Enjoy the house though! The first month or so before you start noticing everything you want to fix or change is absolute bliss. =) Edit: Not sure about that particular transfer case but if it's like 99% of the typical 4WD systems, 4Low is for slow crawling and 4 High is for highway speed where you want more traction, like in snow or towing.

Go to Walmart they have big black rugs. Not sure the sizes but I’ve seen solid black ones there

Congrats on the house Jeff! What I use the high gear for is for terrain that will cause the auto transmission to downshift all the way back to one and bring you to a stop. On very steep hills it will cause you to stall out but from my experience it works best in bumpy terrain/slighter slopes where the auto trans would downshift and cause you to lose momentum. It's not as noticeable here on the jeep since it's pretty light but in the heavier trucks the transmissions can get pretty bogged down. Also sorry if you've answered this before, but do you run your wheel on snowrunner?

This is just now on consoles. Watching this video though and comparing the performance of it for you here and how it performs on my PS4 oddly enough doesn’t seem to even be close, it feels like I’m driving a base game rig.

What about those rubber mats for garages? They should offer some sound deadening and keep your motion rig from scratching the floor. I had a 94 XJ back in high school, I miss it.

Hello. I also wonder why it is called a High Gear. When I am in High Gear the truck/scout drive slower then the higher Auto Gear.

I just bought snow runner minutes before this came out

At least on an older version of Snowrunner the high gear always felt slower than just using the A no matter what vehicle was used.

I got this for Xbox one but I can’t join anybody because every time I I try and join someone it freezes where you choose your vehicle and it crashes and says lost connection to host it’s a fun game but I might be deleting this game because the developers have no intention of fixing this problem
