It is really obvious how confident Jae became now. Back then he looked uncomfortable singing the chorus of You Were Beautiful but now, he sings it with confidence, he even makes adlibs here and there.

I’m so glad that they feel comfortable preforming. Their company the other day announced that they would, as a group, take a hiatus from promoting their new album Book of Us: Demon, due to their mental health. It would be great if we can get more people to go stream that and make them feel happy.

The articles that I have read stated that more than one member showed symptoms of anxiety. And based on Jae's tweets, I'm guessing he's one of them. The other one is probably Sungjin? I haven't seen a video of him lately. Brian, Wonpil, and Dowoon were on a radio program recently. It's really not easy to be in the entertainment industry. I hope they all feel better soon.

@@naanoou4836 Do you have any clue why Jae is experiencing anxiety? I mean, he showed signs when he broke down in their Manila concert last year. He also talked about mental health in his IG live. But I thought he had already recovered or at least was on his way to recovery. But I guess he's still not there yet.

Wtf they sound so clean, I don't understand about sound management stuff but their voices just come on top so well and the instrumental is really balanced and good to hear. Ig this level of equipment is just really expensive? or there was post production? I just don't get this type of clean in much other live performances of them (and other artists) even in some studio live vers. This is prob the closest I'll be to the paradise of hearing them up close lololol

Me too, it can be described as the word 'miracle'. YoungK's voice is magically beautiful somehow that I've never heard before, and the same with Wonpil and Jae, Sungjin is so great as always! And the instrumental sound is so so so balance and easy to absorb (like wtf??) I cant believe that this performance is real!!!! *Sob*

I think it's a mix of having really nice mics/equipment, as well as incredible voices obviously, but they also probably have an amazing audio engineer who balanced everything really well. It's phenomenal to hear!!

It is live, but it's in a closed, controlled space - the studio, there's no back sound or anything, this is how it is taped for the cds. But it is also due to their incredible talent, they sound so good live it is actually insane, AND YOU WILL HEAR THEM!!

Yes Jae is signed in one of one of the biggest kpop company while he does more k-pop/rock with his band DAY6, he’s pretty popular and loved in the kpop community, he said in one of his latest streams that streaming is a hobbie for him that helps him with mental Health Check out their other songs they are really good, they co-compose and write the lyrics for all of their songs, you won’t regret it !!!

I was with a band for 10 years. Bass and drum are always communicating (with eyes and gesture) when jamming. They are the foundation therefore if they are not locked tightly, the song falls apart.

For those people who doesnt know them, here are some info: Jae - the guy with the mesmerizing airy voice Wonpil - the keyboard player with high pitch voice(correct me if im wrong, im not a singer huhu) Sungjin - the leader, the one with the raspy voice Young K - aka Brian, he has the on with clean voice Dowoon - the drummer baby😊

John Ric Ang well based on my observation wonpil has a high toned voice it just sounds high pitched because he has a nasal like voice but I love the uniqueness in his voice it really makes him stand out :D

John Ric Ang Yeah but he’s said multiple times he prefers Young K. The members call him Brian because they’re his friends. I feel like it’s kinda disrespectful to keep calling him Brian when he’s told us on many occasions to use Young K. If MyDays want something more casual, they can opt for Younghyun if they really want to.

day6 has some of the best vocalists in the industry - each of their voices has a beautifully unique tone and their high skill level makes singing look absolutely effortless. just how many cds do they eat everyday to have these top tier vocals?? i hope they will rest well and be happy & healthy knowing that their music is a gift to many people~~~

in May, i was scrolling on instagram and saw a dive studios ad for HDIGH and i was like "hmmm? day6? probably a kpop boy group" and scrolled by...(i was never interested in the k-music industry so i was UNEDUCATED)...but then a few days later, I 'accidentally' watched this video bc of autoplay...little did i know DAY6 would be my favorite band EVER :) thank u autoplay! i owe u a tonnn!! I've been into K Pop for three years, BTS being my first introduction into the K Pop trap! I just found Day6 a week ago on a video of someone's 100 favorite boy K Pop groups songs, there are real gems out there just waiting to be discovered, Day6 is a Diamond in that pile of gems. Love Them!! 💕 You should check out The Rose, they are another band like Day6 and their fans usually like both groups, look up the song Sorry, you will not be disappointed. 👍🏻😊

if you like Day6 you should also check out FTISLAND, CNBLUE, The Rose, Royal Pirates, Drug Restaurant, Hyukoh, N. Flying, Nell, 10cm, Bursters (formerly Burstered), South Club, Wetter, Guckkasten, Inlayer, The East Light, Movning, Onewe (formerly M.A.S), HÜ, A-Fati (formerly Amor Fati), The Black Skirts, WAX, Marmello, and Boowal (old but gold). There are tons more out there but these are all the ones I could think of off the top of my head! There are a good many groups that have the refreshing rock feel that we all wanted, however until recently, this style of music was not super popular in Korea and so many groups disbanded not long after they debuted. If you also want insightful info on the Band scene in Korea you should listen to Eric Nam’s DIVE Studios podcast where he interviewed Brian!
