Bought mine new in 1990. Drove it for 13 years, over 200k miles, never broke down, ran amazingly well. Routine maintenance only. I can’t say enough Dood things about it. It’s the only car/truck I’ve ever owned I wish I had back and I have owned many in my lifetime.

Beautiful truck

I was 16 years old and it was a rainy school day in '96. My mom would always drop me off at school in the mornings, but this day she took a little detour to the bank where she worked. In the parking lot was a dark blue single cab 2WD '89 Isuzu pickup with decals all over the back window. She handed me a set of keys and said, "It's a repo, i got it for $800. Take the stickers off because i think the last owner is a drug dealer and i don't want people thinking that you're him". I had to learn to drive stick that day, in the rain, and have hated automatics ever since. If i could find another clean one at a decent price I'd scoop it up real quick but man they're getting pretty hard to find 😔
