What's up guys? Welcome back to the channel! In today's video I'm reviewing the Casio G-shock MTG-B1000D-1AER which is a feature packed beast with some premium built quality and finishing!

The quality of this MTG model far exceeded the GST G-Steel B100. Worth twice the price. Made in Japan definitely shows. The button feel. build quality is much superior. I like it how you always mentioned how it fits under office long sleeve sleeve cuffs. Only Edifice brand is slim to hide under the cuffs.

Glad to hear that you're loving yours. It's a fantastic piece! Yeah, I wear mine at work quite often and it goes well with any attire which is something that I can't say for many watches in my collection. Even if it doesn't fit under all cuffs it still looks good.

GST-B200 is awesome. MTG-B1000 is awesome. MTG-B2000 is awesome. Not feeling it for the MTG-B3000 yet. If in doubt, can't go wrong with the GST-B200 line.

I just got the black with red accent 1ADR and am thoroughly impressed! The build quality is really top notch..can see the quality that goes into its manufacture. I was at first worried that it may be too large for my small wrist but it turned out the perfect size compared to my other GShocks like the Rangeman and Gravity Defier (good news for those with small wrists). You are right about these MTGs attracting attention, I went to a watch shop to replace 3 of my GShocks' batteries and the salesman told me they look stunning.

The black with red accents is gorgeous! I'm still loving mine and wear it quite often with pretty much any attire. I had the chance to review the mtg-b2000 but to be honest I like the b1000 much more. As you said the build quality and finishing is top noth. Even better than some swiss luxury watches that I've had.

The module is very similar in function to my GWR-B1000 Gravitymaster. My first experience with an expensive G. Quite an impressive technological tour de force: 52 layers of carbon fibre to form the bezel, Carbon Monocoque case, buttons, screws, clasp in titanium, carbon fibre band, and a wonderful domed sapphire crystal. Excellent lume, Tough Solar, Multiband 6, Bluetooth, Tough Movement, Triple G resist, Rust resist…😮 All this and only 72 grams.. Truly impressive watch, you should check it out.. Meanwhile I am debating if I should get myself an MTG next, but the size puts me off a little, the Gravitymaster is already at 46mm..

The Gravitymaster is amazing and yes, it's just as functional, so you probably don't need an MTG and you probably shouldn't get one. On the other hand, I've never accepted this as a valid reason not to get another watch :))

@@TheBoldHairspring a man of culture. I prefer the B1000 as well over the B2000. Purchased the lunar rainbow edition and it's the best casio I have.

Something about the carbon monocoque case back and new face of the B2000 that puts me off. The B1000 here is the same model I have too, and I think it works better with a bracelet and in stainless steel than IP coloured or a resin band.

Bought the B1000-1A version with the resin strap on offerup new for $250 in my city. Best watch I’ve ever had. I really did hit a goldmine.

I just bought it, very happy and actually easy to use as well considering all the features delivered, replaced my current g9000 bought 5years ago as the buttons broke.

I believe it's now discontinued but still plenty of stock out there. I do prefer this one over the newer b2000 model. Hope you can get it soon!

I just bought a used Gst-b200 for a good deal on ebay and next on my list is either a MTG-B1000D-1A or a Protrek-Prw-70T......I've got a while to save but damn I like both. 😅😅 Thks for the vid. The MTG-B1000D-1A looks like a great watch. So does the PRW-70T but nobody seems to review protreks.

Congrats! I've got the mtg-b1000 and absolutely love it. Can't recommend it enough. The protrek is also a fantastic choice. Especially if you can get it with the composite bracelet. The best decision would be to buy both 😬.

It's an insane watch and I think it worth every cent...... I am waiting for the second generation (MTG 2000) to land in Europe..... It's gorgeous.

The b1000-1ajf doesn't have the red accents on the dial and it comes on a resin band instead of a bracelet. Other than that it's the same watch.

Can you wear it through out the day in office where you need to work on keyboard? How comfortable is this one ?

Yes, you gotta love g-shock and even so it's difficult to justify the price of 1000 usd retail. I got it with 25% off but still expensive.

I'm afraid it might be a bit too big. The gst-b200 will be a much better fit I know it's not an mtg but it's awesome anyway.

hi is this really a shock resist? i don't think so they are fooling when the watch falls down by the upper stailness steel side there will a damage inside the movement

Hi, this is as tough as an analog watch can be. Obviously it will withstand less than an all resin digital display model but it's still a very durable and well made piece.
