Oh my sweet Angel…. It has been 19 years since I lost my very first grand daughter, sweet Kaylea Blair. My daughter went on to miscarry another little Angel and then had 2 beautiful babies. When my grandson was born, I sobbed with joy that he was totally fine but I was sobbing too for sweet Kaylea. She was constantly on my mind and the fear of my grandson being stillborn just overtook my very soul. The day he was born, my daughter was snatched up for an emergency C section and I when they wheeled her through those operating room doors, I felt like I was floating above my body the grief was so heavy. I paced the floor, heart racing, crying, praying until they finally came out and told me that the baby and my daughter were alive and well!!! You are allowed to keep grieving for that sweet Angel. She will forever be in your heart and on your mind. As time travels on, the pain will lessen and the tears won’t fall as often. When you hold the brand new baby, you’ll think of Alyah( I’m sorry if I spelled her name wrong) but it won’t be with the overwhelming sadness you’ve been feeling. It will be more of wondering , like what kind of big sister would she be, how big would she be , would she be happy and giggling all the time, just wondering about what could have been. My grand daughter would have graduated high school last year. I wonder what she would be doing now?? Instead I know she’s in Heaven with my Mama, that died just 4 months after her. I hope you know how loved you and silly Dennis are!!!!!! I’m sorry for the long comment!!!!!
