Honestly I think megami tensei series bosses are the most balanced , fun , and challenging I’ve had it when it came to rpg games It could even compare the interactive nature of Mario and Luigi And that sense of dread and challenge like darkest dungeon My goodness

Little thing, but I think 8-bit helps really keeps the subtle clashing of instruments in the original version of this song. Amazing work!

the boss was cool but I didnt enjoy that you needed to reach atleast level 90 to put a dent on him. the rest of the base game never required grinding on hard mode

I don't know why but SMT battle themes specifically, (not even Persona battle themes) sound right at home in 8-bit, the only ones that I think wouldn't sound good would be Normal Battle and Forced battle from Nocturne and that is because of the strange vocals
