For context for those who are curious about Divide. I don’t know much but as far as we know they were the main artist of the original sonic in Too slow, during update 2’s development they went silent for quite a while, until the team was told by a close friend of there’s ‘presumably on the team as well’ that their parents confirmed that divide passed away. So to honor him in the credits at the beginning his name is highlighted in gold and his code is in a darker color. It’s incredibly touching and I’m sorry for their loss, Rest In piece divide for creating a wonderful mod.

Also, in Black Sun, there's a mechanic where you can't recover health, nor lose normally ... instead it's drained. Hitting a note slightly decreases its speed while missing one DRASTICALLY accelerates it. Survival at its finest !

I love how genuine Ryan’s panic is when bf loses control of the beat. Like he’s full on panicking for his fingers and I find it stupidly halarious.

A few quick notes with some of the songs for anyone curious: 1. The invisible notes drain health temporarily and do stack 2. Each ring you collect forgives 1 miss so you don't lose health 3. In the song Act 1 you don't heal from hitting notes, so if you lose health it's gone for good.

*"Triple Trouble"* is just the Sonic.exe creepypasta sprites of the characters Sonic.exe killed (Tails, Knuckles, and Eggman). It's also the name of a Sonic Game. *"Cycles"* is basically a remastered version of Execution. This version of Sonic.exe is know as "Lord X" from the Sonic.exe PC Port. *"Endless"* (as hopefully everyone has already seen) is a reference to "Majin Sonic" a name given to the disturbing Sonic CD easter egg of "Fun is Infinite With Sega Enterprises. Signed Majin." (Which means devil) with the creepy US version boss theme playing in the background. The JP version is more used as a joke because of the that version's boss theme. Later on the name "Majin" was discovered to be on the names of the devs who worked on Sonic CD. *"Sunshine"* is a reference to the "Tails Doll" creepypasta from Sonic R along with song "Can You Feel the Sunshine" which you heard during the "dark part". *"Chaos"* is a reference to Fleetway Super Sonic from the UK comics (Also called the Fleetway comics) where Sonic's super form literally turns him into a demon with the power of the "Chaos Emeralds" corrupting his brain. *"Faker"* is a reference to another version of Sonic.exe by Revie named "EXE". I think this one LOOKS like Sonic, but transforms in a whole new horrific way by the end (Just like you see later on in "Black Sun"). The ones that Ryan missed: *"Milk"* is a reference to Sunky.mpeg, a parody of Sonic.exe *"Too Fest"* is a reference to a parody of Sonic.exe named "Sanic", but here he's designed to parody Sonic.exe as "Sanic.exe". He's VERY meme-y, that's why he holds weed and MLG guns. An "earrape" version of Green Hill Zone edited to sound "creepy" (By making it stutter all weird) is playing in the background.

This mod has got to be one of my favorites by far. So much effort, no cringy dialogue, good music, cool art, awesome mechanics, a lot of music. 10/10

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve rewatched this, but I never get tired of it.

In the song cycles the reason the hands in the back are holding a sign that says "We are not Knuckles" is because in the first version most people assumed that the hands in the back were Knuckles Edit: The reason the song "Sunset" aka Tails Doll (FIRE) looks the way it does is because it is a reference to Sonic R because that is the game that tails doll originated from. Also the character Ryan calls Super Sonic is actually someone called Fleetway Sonic. Fleetway Sonic is the original Super Sonic until Sonic absorbed him to stop him from destroying the world. In addition the song Act 1 is a reference to the vhs sonic.exe tapes made by ShutupJoshua (I hope I spelled that right)

Honestly, genuinely impressed with his ability to genuinely keep up with the notes almost flawlessly. Also, genuinely funny that he kept playing when knuckles swapped the notes 🤣

So ryan, the "distraction notes" actually slowly drain health when you hit them, and the rings are meant to protect you from taking damage at the cost of a ring. p.s. can you play the dave and bambi mod?

Love this mod so so much! So many references, with song names, characters, and sound effects (as well as slight visuals such as the blood splash for getting a sick). The addition of Fleetway, endless getting a remix and graphics overhaul(and cycles, etc), and triple trouble incorporating many features. Absolutely one of the best mods out there, hands DOWN! While it isn't the most challenging mod ever, the number of references and fan service this mod gives just makes me really happy. Outstanding mod. (Also all the music mostly slaps) Edit: Totally forgot about the retro section in the second song, amazing. Edit 2: Although the section in Triple Trouble against Knuckles is sick, when you switch sides, my eyes aren't used to looking that side so i usually get quite a few misses lol Edit 3: When I first found out about the CD easter egg in endless by inputting 12 25, in the original mod, i freaked out - cus i was so excited to see such a great reference. Edit 4: I know there's a lot of edits but...the more i watch and play the fleetway super sonic level the more i love it. It's so cool to see such a dark and niche character (idk if he's niche(and probably one of the best)) to be represented in such a great mod.

Here's an explanation on how the mechanics work: In you can't run and triple trouble, when you press a ghost note, it slowly drains your bar for a little while, the more you press the quicker it drains. In black sun, you cant regain health, and your bar slowly drains.

This is honestly one of the most impressive mods I've seen for FNF, the amount of callbacks to the original creepypasta plus the additions they made are awesome. Can't wait to see what these guys come up with next, whether it's another update to this or something new!

This mod was the reason I found more interest in Sonic.exe and Sonic in general, I can't thank it enough for all its glory!

It's a 10/10. Triple trouble, if it was its own little thing, would still be a 9/10. Pair that with something like YCR where it completely switches art style mid-song and the mod gets so much better. Since it's also keeping the old Endless song as well, it's practically perfect, and the new unlockable songs are also massive bangers. Also, I think the rings save you from getting hurt from missing arrows. I am open to criticism and/or disagreement of my reviews. 1-4 bad, 4.1-5.5 decent, 5.6-9.9 good, 10 perfect.

Is anyone going to point out the fact that a normal person playing this mod would die in Phase 3, realizing the importance of the rings, whereas this man did this in one try, without such knowledge?

Those "triplet thingies" are dotted rhythms. In sheet music if you dot a note, it adds half of its value to it. So it's a dotted, dotted, then normal. The third note is shorter. Three notes together are only a triplet if all three are the exact same length. This has been your lesson on rhythms from a huge music nerd. The more you know! 🌈🌈🌈

I know there are plenty comments about the mechanics, but I have played this myself and know how they all work Static Notes: These work like a normal note, but missing does more damage and makes it had to see for a split second Ghost Notes: Hitting them causes the health to drain, the more you hit, the faster it goes down Triple Trouble Mechanics: Rings: When you hit these with spacebar, they add to the ring counter, and are used to heal if you miss a note (health drain from ghost notes don't count) Tails starts you off easy, Knuckles has the hardest part of the chart with the notes plus ghost notes, Eggman is around the longest with all the notes, and Sonic himself does more damage if you miss notes, spawns no rings at all, and you heal less when with him Extra Song Mechanics: Fleetway Sonic's laser: Only happens once in the song, but kills instantly if not avoided, press space around when he says "Eat this!" Fake Sonic Phase 2: In Black Sun, you won't gain any health and it drains slowly, a high combo will slow it down Tails Doll lights: In one part of Sunshine, the only indicator for what notes Tails Doll does are from his light, and the arrows flash making it harder to see them, so pay close attention to where they are for your turn To those playing the mod now watching this video, I hope it'll help!

In case you didn't realize it, here's a few tips. 1. The ghost notes, when hit, make your health drain a specific amount, which stacks with each ghost note. This drain *can kill you* so it's better to miss a normal note, than accidentally hit a ghost note. 2. The rings, when collected, spare a single miss note from draining your health, and don't count towards the missed counter.

Hey Ryan, here’s a quick tip. Try and edit your keybinds to help your fingers (i.e DFJK) because since it separates your fingers, you have easier chance of easy full combos! And when songs use 5-9 keys, it’s easier to hit the spacebar.

Fun fact, the super sonic is called Fleetway sonic, a canon version of sonic from the older comics, and Fleetway is basically mentally insane super sonic, and he only becomes Fleetway after being highly stressed and near chaos energy

While I still consider Tricky to be the more difficult of the two, this mod, without question, sits right up next to it in terms of pure quality. You can FEEL the effort and passion poured into this. Though I will never get around to playing this mod myself (because I suck at even just the base game), I have to applaud these devs for their incredible work and commitment even when faced with the death of a friend and fellow team member. RIP Divide, you will be missed more than you could ever have known.

Yo the fact that they decided to feature Fleetway (Super Sonic) from the Sonic the Comic series is amazing! I love the fact that the mod creators had Sonic fall into chaos pit, causing him to go under extreme stress which brings out Fleetway to manifest in Sonic's body. The community loves small bits like that ties back is awesome. Kudos for the creatures you are amazing!
