For a core team of ~41 employees, the game is great. I was comparing the natural environments to Rockstar's RDR2, but one needs to consider the size of the team and the output of work. This should win some awards for sure

I completed the story with my 5950x/evga 3090 enjoyed flying on broom skimming hills and farms and waterways.After completing cyberpunk many times it felt I was doing the same again in Hogwarts, seemed to get me hooked on moving fast collecting and selling all the tatt on offer throughout the world. The combat is fairly enjoyable turning foes into barrels and get thrown back.The caves are well done as are the spiders and the trolls get boulders back in their face.

@@wtf17727 Uhhh witcher 3 is literally an ubisoft rip off though, terrible exploration , just a giant check list with arrows pointing exactly where to go (and if the arrow dosnt work witcher sense will show you EXACTLY what you have to do) and only like 2 good quests , the rest were generic af. Elden rings open world was pretty garbage as well, not anywhere near as good as previous souls games.

Was this edited to cut out the times when the game just bogs down out of nowhere, or have they patched it since? I remember trying this maxed out on a high end rig, runs 100fps and then a few minutes later same place, same conditions the frame drops and the GPU fan slows down from not being utilized.

0:30 funny, how the costline doesn´t move an inch while there are two feet high waves right next to it. The sea looks totally off. Sons of the forest did a much better job on the ocean waves and beach graphics. A lot of other games do. I wonder what went wrong here. Other than that the games looks decent.

It was always like that with some of big old title like GTA V, Dragon Age Inquisition, etc.... apparently the big waves was very visible and convicing yet the coastline didn't move an inch, maybe it was because of engine limitation? IDK, i mean HL use Unreal Engine 4 which now is a 9 years old engine.

Hogwarts Legacy is a cross gen game while Sons of the Forest is a PC exclusive designed specifically with pretty beefy rigs in mind. It really isn't surprising at all one looks more technically impressive than the other. Hogwarts Legacy still looks fairly fantastic for what it is though.

wow i was playing on 1080p even with fsr cause my gpu was lagging, and comparing to 4k its like day and night, this is so good graphics, i thought game was blocky, blurry and crappy made, but i guess its resolution and upscaling that sucked. ill replay this game in future on these settings when ill get decent gpu

@@_INVU_ you don't need it, i have a ps5 too and series S, enjoy the fun of gaming! pc master race is such a bummer if you want the ultra 4k, you will need to be updating it each 2 years to keep up the generations, on console there maybe is a ps5 pro but then the ps6 and that's it, well optimized won't need to worry about drivers, settings, etc

I never read any of the books or saw any of the movies. This is still a great single player game, the combat is fun, there are tons of things to do, and the graphics are amazing. You should definitely check it out if you enjoy open world games

Those raytracing settings are a bit much at times but impressive nonetheless. My 4080 was playable at 4K no DLSS with everything at max settings, didn't check the framerate but it looked to be about 20FPS. No raytracing it was a steady 60 FPS at least.

The PS5 is a good console but these new GPUs from Nvidia bring games to a whole new level. Definitely get a gaming PC if you want to game @ 60fps+ as consoles will soon have games locked @ 30fps or the sacrifices will be massive if the games have a performance 60fps mode. Developers will take advantage of this Lovelace tech and consoles won’t be able to cope. I think we’ll see a huge leap forward now we have frame generation tech available.

except it's not 4k or 8k..... DLSS tops out on a 4k display at 2000 something by 1600 something. it's rendered at a lower resolution that uses upscaling method and I can easily tell that it isn't 4k, however, the performance is much better than native 4k on my bottlenecked CPU. My 3090ti can handle anything, but this game requires a ton of RAM and more current cpu.

Not gunna lie this footage looks like it could have been from a game made anywhere from 2012 to 2023 however actually very impressive for a smaller dev Team. Objects that end up close to the camera with low res textures and low polygon count, animations that that don't account for realistic acceleration, small clutter and nature assets clipping and floating or hard to identify.

Yeah exactly tbh, It's more that everything about this game beyond its references, feel very uninspired to me, like a bunch of technically impressive Ue5 assets with raytracing put in but without any real creative or personal merit to make it stand out. Compare this to something with the artstyle and intentionality like Elden Ring or Totk, the worlds just feel alive because you can feel the passion in every corner. I often just walk the Lands Between with a slight tear in my eye just appreciating its painting esc quality to it, I feel absolutely nothing watching this

Well, objectively i agree. But, subjectively, i prefer way more the combination of the foggy, gloomy and often rainy ambientation mixed with the scottish biome and the artstyle that HL gives.

@@cath0nic834 hogwarts is 4 years newer, so of course i do expect better visuals than rd2, or at least similar level of graphics.. as an endconsumer, i really dont care about the budget nor the development length, you still pay the same full price, im not buying excuses.. and lets put aside the graphics, because it indeed looks really good.. but the performance is terrible compared to rd2, it requires an almost twice as strong pc

@@MrGiHunt You can't compare Rockstar games with anyone else. They are known for their Perfect Games. RDR 2 will be incomparable for many more years, of course unless RDR 3 or GTA 6 comes out 😁😁

El traje del personaje muy bien, el sombrero tambien, la barita y su echido de iluminacion tambien pero la pregunta es: Hay en algun sitio la suficiente oscuridad para que ese echizo de iluminacion tenga sentido?

Si bro. Yo me pase el juego y en alguna área (por ejemplo en la misión exclusiva de PlayStation) sin el hechizo directamente no ves. Ni teniendo el brillo al máximo. Un saludo 😊

Si, hay lugares repletamente oscuros en algunas misiones, que ni teniendo el brillo maximo se puede ver. Asi que si es muy util el hechizo de iluminacion

Everything else in this game is amazing until you realize your character is not centered on the screen it's position is programmed always on the left side which makes you dizzy and hard to navigate at times. I don't know about you guys but I just got used with AC where everything is perfectly centered.
