Joel is Awesome, What I also like about him is that he doesn't talk too much not does he eat messy. Randy eats clean but talks too much...Reina, talks but eats very messy, makes you lose your appetite....

I think that’s part of his charm though when Randy talks a lot it’s just how he eats and I love it. Because he always makes me laugh I think he feels awkward that people are staring at him eat a little bit and so that’s why he talks

At the 26min mark you could see she was ready to call it quits. At that point I was saying “she won’t make another 10min”. Then the alcohol incident happened. 🤷🏻♂️

to be fair, she didn't order what was on the menu- asking a restaurant to replace 8lbs of raw fish with 8lbs of fried fish is a pretty big menu change- not saying it's Raina's fault at all, just that it's also not fair to pass judgment on a restaurant for what is essentially an experiment

The rice looked overcooked and hard to me. The cooked fish also looked stone hard to me as well. Then the added alcohol sake that Raina did not want combined for a triple threat and worked against her. Not the end of the world . Raina is still a champ in my eyes. Cheers from Canada.

Awesome vid Raina! Judging by your plate, I would’ve had them weigh the plate in front of you before starting the challenge because there’s definitely a difference in the portion of right. Randy’s and Joel’s plates had their fish covering the rice while yours was barely staying on the plate. Still a beast 🤙🏽

Looking at Raina's food from the time it was placed on the table, you can see that her plate has more rice than the other two. They were probably mad she asked them to cook the sushi. The food did not look enjoyable. The rice seemed to multipy as the pyramid fell. Super disappointed because Raina was sabotaged.

It looked like she told the one guy she was full before the mugs even got to the table. She doesn't need to blame the alcohol for ruining her appetite, she was already done. And she's allowed to have off days, for sure. She should just chalk it up to an off day, not the alcohol.

@@arte2713 probably just more rice to make up for the meat shrinking from cooking to achieve the same size pyramid. im pretty sure they intended on using the same amount of meat which they did but like i said cooked meat shrinks quite a bit. same number of pieces of fish same size pyramid cap but more rice to fill the void from the shrunk fish.

And two full mugs of it at that! Talk about an extreme waste! She doesn't drink alcohol at all, so that gulp didn't help her out. She might have taken most of the hour to finish, but at least she would have been able to finish.

What’s all this talk about it’s alright your still the champ! Being a champ isn’t winning all the time. It’s showing up and doing your best! What this proves is how hard they actually work at this and how mentally & physically challenging it can be. Talk about an individual sport. She is a Champion and you can never take that away from her. Lakers didn’t win every game but they are the CHAMPS! Nothing but LOVE for RAIN

Raina you did good, that's a lot of rice and crabmeat plus any water just makes it harder to do. Good effort none the less. When Joel uses all the ponzu sauce and then starts pouring soy sauce you know its serious. haha Randy is sitting and doing a challenge(out of his comfort zone) , then hits the knee's position is still a beast when it comes to food challenges. Well Done to you all - Crushed it.

I feel like Raina may have gotten some fish that wasn’t as cooked as she likes . She doesn’t do undercooked ANYTHING especially fish .

@@michellejk08 definitely. Really in reality Raina has limits to . They are different from other people’s limits and that is okay . Most of the eaters have said that the momentum of the eating can jot be disturbed . If the texture or the contents are distracting it will throw off the momentum . The alcohol probably was the last straw in it and just threw to much of a wrench in for her to even enjoy the experience from then on.

There’s a really strange tension between raina and Joel, her demeanour changes when she realises she isn’t gonna win. I also can’t help but think the alcohol was an excuse as she was done eating before she took a drink.

It’s called a challenge. You get your mind + body determined to win a challenge. It’s called competing and sometimes you win, sometimes you fail. It’s all part of the game Raina & Joel know that. She tried her best and that’s all that matters. Heck I could only get through 1/8 of that pyramid if I was starving Lol :)
