I can’t believe those rooms are so cheap for a night I live in California USA Northern California you can’t get a room or a motel for one night for under 85 bucks from rundown motel six and to rent a room is $900 a month there’s only monthly rentals I want to take a trip to England to go to Blackpool knowing I can afford to stay the night a little rundown but warm bed and covers and have a nice time in Blackpool in the summer. TBH everything is the US is overpriced. However you do earn 3x more than the UK salary. Average salary in the UK is 30K GBP. Wheras in the US its about 60-80K USD.

Thanks for the support that's really expensive isn't it! Definitely come to the UK but not just London the people in the North are much more friendly flights to the USA are relatively cheap too. 🙂

If you do go there I hope you really like and enjoy Blackpool as I have been going there since I was a very young kid. I have family down there which I can stay with if need be although I am going down there the 11th next month for 5 days with my family from here. I didn`t realize America was expensive like that as I have never paid more than £25 for a room for the night although I did pay £60 once but that was a family room so worked out at £12 per person. Not all hotels are dirty there is a lot of cheap decent ones to pick from. Anyway take care and again I hope you enjoy Blackpool.

£8 a night you could actually live there all year round as that`s only £56 a week which is a lot cheaper than paying rent for some property. If you make a deal to live there I am sure you could organize your room the way you want it without too much fuss and expense.

@@wanderingwiganer I have stayed in lots of different hotels in Blackpool. Stayed in one in Dec 2022 and it was dropping to bits but the room was lovely and warm and the bed were clean. I don`t ask for the Hilton if I am getting a room for two people 3 nights for £60

Wow it started with promise and ended in disaster.I didn't have hope at the start then I was lifted when you entered the room.I just knew it would be either the smell or the bed. Can you try The Rest & Welcome Guest House Blackpool? cheers.

Hi,tiny bit better than Mallory hotel but if changed bedding probably stay the night don’t blame you not staying there bottom of shower needs work &very little hot water suppose £8 carnt expect much least bed should be clean thanks sharing this with us👍

Blooming hell bed was pretty minging. Do agree though with some hot water and clean bedding and general stains cleaning would of been decent for the money. Was it off to the Norbreck again pal. Hope u well

I don’t know if the hotel is under. We management but when lenny owned it, it was nice. My ex paid £12 per person per night. Nice friendly place and I would have been pleased to go back.

Looks ok but obviously no frills.I think that the worst I stayed in in this archipelago is a toss up between one in Swansea,Wales with human excrement on the towel and one in St Peter Port, Guernsey where the owner wanted to check my luggage before leaving to check that I hadn't stolen her polyester towels!I hadn't!

Why stay there when the hotel hunter did a review only less than 2 weeks ago and didn't stay. Read the reviews, too. I own the 2 hotels next to it the wingate and the Maydene hotel and I'm currently charging £25.00 for a single room until the 3rd of March

They are Dean Street if memory serves me correctly and it`s a great location right near to pleasure beach. £25 is a decent price as well.

This is not a platform for you to advertise your two hotels in dean street , we are just looking at the sea view which is being filmed . The sea view has always has a bad name .

I would not sleep on that bed whatever the cost. This is bad. Its good you walked out. But probably no refund. Even if it only costs £8 I still think you are entitled to a refund.
