These are literally Dynasty Warriors made into YGO cards, mainly from the Shu Dynasty. Just with slightly different names, just look at the card art. “Big Red” is Lu Bu, “Guan Yun” is “Guan Yu”, the Link has Liu Bei in it, there’s even Zhang Fei and Zhuge Liang! This is a dope archetype!!

I'm interested to see what they would make out of the Wu and Wei forces. I could see Wu being Synchro considering how often they go through lords and strategists but there would definitely be a burn enhancer somewhere in there considering how often they use the fire strategy (and I really want to see a deck get use out of having those burn spells). Maybe something like "Double all damage dealt by effects" for the Lu Xun rip off. For Wei, I can see them going XYZ as they're a force known for absorbing their enemies to turn them into allies. Cao De already does enough by sacrificing a card to go onto the field before striking down their enemy and gaining them as an ally but XYZs can have that in spades too by absorbing enemy cards like a Purrly.

just wanted to stop by and say that this video made me so much better at Ancient Warriors, its literally my favorite Archetype because it reminds me of Dynasty Warriors which was a game that is very near snd dear to my heart. I've watched your other deck videos and i really have to say that nobody else explains decks as well as you do, especially with the kinda step by step commentary. I took your deck and revised it to my liking and it took me all the way to plat 1 last season.

Funny thing was that I was going for fairy tail Luna but ended up getting anchient warriors, so I got tri-bragade and this deck works well it gave me a ton of wins. I played an unoptimazed version with what cards I had on hand

The monster in this deck comes from Dynasty Warriors, which presents the story of Chinese Three Kingdom's War around 2000 years ago. The card name "Lu Feng" is actually the first two characters of this warrior's full name "Lü Feng Xian", and his real name is "Lü Bu". In the legends, Lu is the ultimate strong warrior of all ancient times. Almost every Chinese and Japanese person (no matter if they are interested in history or not) know his name and consider him as the very unbeatable warrior throughout Chinese history. So he has the effect of wiping out the opponent's strongest monster and this effect is hard to resist. Unfortunately Lü Bu was not a decent man. He betrayed his multiple warlords multiple times and was never loyal to anyone. He even changed his surname to his warlords' to please them, before betraying them and slaying them. So many of his enemies called him as "Slave with three Surnames". And the end of his life, he was captured by the famous warlord Cao Cao, who appreciated his martial might, yet refuse to accept his surrender, because he fear that Lu will go against him one day and slay him ruthlessly. And Lu was finally executed.

As someone who is new to playing yugioh since master duel came out, i appreciate the deck profile before the gameplay so i know what is going on better

Little blue gets little green. Little green and little blue make big blue. Big blue gets big red and/or big green searcher. Now you have big blue ,big red and big green. got it.

I play this deck a lot but I am really waiting for the new support to come out for Master Duel, it makes the deck a lot better, and helps to extend plays.

You guys honestly dont even know, wait till the new dimension force support in the ocg comes to master duel, oof the dong zhuo card and the deception and betrayal spell OOF dong zhuo is an amazing searcher that banishes a card if a monster kills, and deception and betrayal helps to eliminate bricks

In the Lyri-Tri Brigade duel you could have activated the Three Visits waaay earlier. Three Visits blows up in the second Standby, then you would have Guan Yun for free

I had to make a mobile account to try this deck out, and I am pleasantly surprised. Depending on the cards you use, you can go full unga-bunga or go high atk control plays.. also has surprising synergy with tri-brigade.

Guide for people who play Koei Warrior series to have easier time memorizing the Ancient Warriors monsters: Liu Xuan = Liu Bei Sun Mou = Sun Quan Cao De = Cao Cao Guan Yun = Guan Yu Zhang De = Zhang Fei Zhuge Kong = Zhuge Liang Zhang Yuan = Zhang Liao Jia Wen = Jia Xu Lu Jing = Lu Su Zhou Gong = Zhou Yu Lu Feng = Lu Bu Dong Zhong = Dong Zhuo And yes I'm still waiting for them to add more to fuel my history geek thirst...

Man you and Samuraix1 are the reasons I have 4 competition level decks (drytron, zoodiac, zoodiac-tri-brigade and prank kids) and still f2p.

For a deck who literally ripped through your enemies, their names deserve more respect and recognition. One of those cards happen to have more depictions of him like an entire statues commemorating him. There has only been 2 Sages recorded in history. One of those being reincarnated into a specific card while Everyone knows of Bruce Lee. That being said, this deck looks wicked, and I'm curious how it stands in this day and age. 😁 😎

Pardon me for my lack of knowledge, but what was actually happened with that Droplet? Nightingale on chainlink 1, Droplet on chainlink 2, & Almiraj on chainlink 3 (can be activated because Dkayed didn't sent any monster for Droplet's cost). Almiraj doesn't have any effect to mitigate Droplet's effect, so Droplet should be successfully negate Nightingale's effect, right? I'm pretty much dying to know what I'm missing here.

it's not overpay the droplet, you sent only spells as a cost for droplet and he was able to respond to it with his monster, if you sent a monster he wouldn't be able to respond to your droplet

i made the deck today and i almost win all the duels, i was beginner 2 this days (because this account was new) and i just played a few couple of hours and i am gold now, one of the easiest singles are the tribrigade ,zoodiac or better if its with the wind liralei or whatever, they do that simorph and summon his wind statue all the time ... then they realise we use drop at 3 and same we have a lot of wind monster to deal with that flootgate i do not lose one single on plat but the first one for 1 mistake vs gk (he seet 4 spells and i play carefully thinking that could be good traps and in the next turn o go2 storm of lightinged 2 times , i negate 1 with zhuge the other ...)

Now you all understand how chaotic ocg meta is, everything is broken that even drytron with 3 benten and Eva barely scratches branded.

Funny thing is ancient warrior is going to be a combo deck in the near future with the new support coming There are some things with this deck that I would look into like the interaction kaiju's have with the deck which is tribute bounce back to hand and then re-use recycle. The fire fist card that allows to normal summon twice is also extremely good with this deck for baiting the opponents
