The NSW Fire Brigade here in Australia released a workout called Fire Fit. It is a 15 week programme designed for the recruits who wish to pass the basic fitness test. It is a slow build to the 45-50 kilo weight expected that a firefighter will be required to lift, carry and drag throughout the duration of their career. Of the 1500 applicants every year, maybe 150 will get through. Of that 150, maybe half will make a lifetime (30+ years) career. I’m currently aiming to follow my Father into the job and he is a 37 year veteran.

Crazy you mention it, I am doing it right now to be a Retained FF! so far im loving it, it's encouraging me to get out and get fit.

@@scrappy673 Which station are you aiming for? I missed out earlier this year getting into the Permanents and when the applications for Retained came out, I was too busy with my part time job to even apply

If you look at episode 5x14, you can clearly see that this guy's house/apt is also Eddie's house. You can see it when Eddie arrives and starts talking to Buck about how his session with Frank went. It's the same bathroom and living room. 🙂

@@Sandyinlove86 I agree immediately what I thought and at the end of the episode when Ravi was like “Buck I’m honored you’d choose me to be your replacement, but I’m glad I don’t have to” and then they both smiled at each other. Although I doubt they would have brought Buck’s girlfriend on as a regular if he was going to actually be with someone at the 118.

Someone who likes irony; Narcissus was a man in Greek myth who liked himself so much he was cursed by the gods to look into his own reflection in a pool. Because he loved his own reflection he starved and died and was turned into the Narcissus flower.

Essa temporada tá um pouco chata,sumiram com vários personagens (Maddie,Chimney,Carla e Christopher) e colocaram um personagem super chato no atendimento do 9-1-1 e isso não foi nada bom,estou muito desanimada com essa temporada.🇧🇷

Why does the cot change from a standard cot to a XPS cot notice the change in rails. Also it’s not even possible for it to fold in that manner under any circumstance. Just another garbage moment for any medical show.
