I have a feeling Eddie will go back to be a firefighter. It’s so obvious he needs different things in his life to actually stay alive. It’s ironic cause he could actually die as a firefighter but he might kill himself if he continues to follow through this routine. It’s sad that he has to choose, and I hope there’s a way for him to stay with the 118 and stay a firefighter but not be in as many bad situations. Maybe he can become a paramedic like Chin and Hen and take a course so he doesn’t have to go into fires as much.

The show does sometimes jump to more obviously unreliable narrator, and since this is Eddie's point of view... The lack of scars makes sense. He has lost his sense of identity, and scars are memories, they represent parts of his identity; being a firefighter, a soldier... But here he's just a blank slate. No identity, no scars. A John Doe.

Damn, I was not ready for shirtless Eddie 🥵 In 1:14 he's wearing a black tank top when opening the curtain, but a white one on the treadmill. Editing error, or is it not supposed to be the same morning? Possibly representing how mundane his new routine is and all the days beginning to blend into each other.

If I’m not wrong Christopher had a nightmare about Eddie dying/ getting injured and Eddie decided to leave the 118 to stay safe and spend more time with Chris while still saving ppl

Because his son said he was afraid that Eddie would die and Eddie thought the best thing to do was to quit his job (and Eddie was also afraid and was buckling under too much untreated trauma).
