Lou Ferrigno Jr. is such a talented actor. That subtle shift in body language between greeting Eddie and greeting Buck spoke volumes. Man got 10x gayer in a matter of seconds.

I dunno. I've watched this quite a few times, and you cannot tell me that Lou was not tempted to go from high five to butt slapping Eddie. Like, come on, that hand was up in the air way too long for the temptation to not arise to do the whole high-five follow through to slapping the butt. I cannot unsee it, I now expect it every time I watch the scene, and get confused when it doesn't happen.

That is definitely some jealousy there from Eddie. I do think Tommy picked up on it, though I don't think Buck did. Though Eddie makes a good point, if Buck brings Tommy as his date to the wedding, everyone is going to be talking about Buck and Tommy instead of Maddie and Chim.

I love Tommy with Evan they great together. I hope that the story line stays that way Evan and Tommy need to be happy together. When Evan tells Maddie about him, he says he is confident interesting and has cleft you call tell the emotion in his voice he is happy to have Tommy in his life. Tommy describes Evan as adorable. They care for each other .

This seems more Eddie getting jealous of Buck valuing his friendship 🤝 with Chimney more than him, even temporarily. It is pretty inevitable as Buck and Tommy's relationship starts interfering with Buck and Eddies boundary-less friendship, Eddie will get jealous though. Feeling "He's my friend. Get your own!"

i Just saw the episode. Don't read this if you haven't seen the full episode . i recently rewatched every episode looking for clues to Buck being gay . in case you didn't remember Tommy worked with all these people for at least 6 years including Hen & Chimney before Buck ever got there. as a matter of fact Buck showed up right after Tommy transferred out of this specific fire station and Tommy was 1 of the men who got the previous chief fired for how he was treating Hen . This episode proves that Hen has known for a while that Buck was into men but there was a clue to that a while ago when they saved a bunch of immigrants from the back of an 18 wheeler. Hen said to Buck "You know what you can blow" Also, once a woman saw Buck with Eddie & Christopher and when it was just her and Buck she assumed the 2 men were a couple raising Christopher and Buck not only didn't correct her... he just smiled .

@@dramagal19 Even siblings are often more formal with each other than Buck and Eddie. Plus, it is just weird to just let a friend become a second dad to your son and just accept it as if it was normal. And share everything outside of dedicated catchup time. Though it seems more likely that they are best friends, who allow each other to get close because they are slightly attracted to each other (even if they don't know it, like many irl people). Rather than secretly crushing on each other.
