'9-1-1 crew' members dies in car crash

A man working on an episodic television series died in a car crash on the 57 Freeway after working a 14-hour overnight shift, according to the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees. KTLA's Carlos Saucedo reports on May 14, 2024.

DRINKING IS a part of the culture. So many crew members drink at the end of the shift before they get in the car

@@meatpopsicle1567 Who knows, he could have been chewing on edibles all day. And since they have ALLOWED such things, and since there is NO DRUG TESTING (unless you are a DRIVER in the industry bound by union laws), it's a free-for-all open drug use arena

@@koenigturbo5907pretty sure the union gives you the right to request lodging or a ride home if you don't feel well enough to drive home but we'd be doing that everyday

🤷🏻For those of you writing negative comments..not cool. I really feel the pain his coworkers are feeling when you work as a crew member the hours are excruciating long and tiring when filming a movie you’re expected to constantly happy, upbeat, and always on it can wear down on your health/soul. After a 14 hour work day he should have been provided transportation and housing. If they can change the rules for us actors (SAG/AFTRA) members then they should help and change the rules for film crew (IATSE) members too.✊The Emmys awards should include crew member Rico Priem in their In Memoriam section of the awards ceremony.

There IS a "911" TV show... It's a show loosely based about Emergency workers living in California... Los Angeles, etc... MOSTLY Fictional works but plenty of ridiculous stories... Their Season 7 opening episodes was about a Cruise Ship being overtaken by "Sea pirates" and even during a harsh Hurricane... A massive tidal wave flips the ship upside down 😱🔥

how is illeagal?? if so then the the state of California owes me forty years of O.T. then. if it were illegal then thousands of production company would have been shut down. what are you saying, every production is in violation of the law and didn't know it?
