I'm in King Arthur. The shoot was a bit of a mess anyway. Guy Ritchie mostly gave direction from off the set, radioing through to his 1st AD. This caused a whole scene to be scrapped mid filming at one point. On one of the days we were majorly overrunning, our call time for Leavesden Studios was at 6am, we didn't roll until after lunch. Shooting then paused around 3 or 4pm, and they started sending half the background home, before deciding we would continue shooting around 6pm. It got to 7pm and still no restart, and Guy was posting pictures on his Instagram mucking about with his girlfriend and some others. Eventually we wrapped that day around 9pm, without shooing anything else.

Yikes, that must have been so frustrating! I can't understand directors who don't give their own direction, well...directly! It must cause an aggravating disconnect between the director and the crew/cast.

Peter Weller's method acting on RoboCop was funny, he insisted on only being called 'Robo' and didn't converse with anyone because he didn't want to lose his grasp vocally on the way RoboCop spoke, but to be fair he went through way more trouble than anyone else going through hours of make up and wearing a cumbersome outfit for most of the shoot.

Its worth noting here that Gigli wasnt the film that Affleck and Lopez signed up. Originally the script was a black comedy - the studio had it retooled multiple times during production to try and take advantage of the Bennifer media ferver.

Surely refusing to go to set and sending your stand in to act for you instead is a breach of contract? I hope the studio sued Wesley Snipes. Imagine if anyone in a normal job did that. You’d be fired instantly.

Snipes was being made 3rd costar in his own movie. Even in the final cut Jessica and Reynolds have more screen time than him. Acting up was his way of protest. @@wbcwinnipegbeltcollector Was Myers right to hold out for using "Bohemian Rhapsody" for the scene, or not?
