Seeing these vehicles gave me an idea of storing the spare tiers parallel to the side walls but enclosed behind forward swinging, lockable panels. What's special about this idea are the tires hang slightly below and behind the side walls lower horizontal edge and angled aft panel (corner), providing extra protection because the tires spin and have a shock absorber.

The Unimog is the ultimate in "Go Anywhere Do Anything" vehicle. However, with a small house at that ground clearance it is going to tip over if you dare to take it off-road.

ZA Quite the opposite actually, with a honeycomb alloy body, even including fixtures and fittings, they can achieve far greater inclined angles than any 4x4 suv.

It does not tip over. Only the buyers tip over knowing the cost. Simply impossible for middle class people wishing for an African off road expedition! I would prefer a Toyota Land cruiser (rented) for African expedition!

Unimog Earth Cruiser for me ! I wish lol. If I had the money though. Ideal size to really explore Canada and dissapear into the bush or mountains. Never gone camping here, damn bears and wolves I just wouldn't feel safe without something solid around me as I sleep lol

My personal favorite is by far the zetros. I would pick a different manufacturer for the cabin tho... Bliss per example. The last RV seems to be quite '' cheap'' compared to all the other so that could be interesting aswell somewhen

#2 Actionmobil Atacam is a true winner since its got washer dryer.....also 1/2 the price of Earth Roamer ( $ 500,000 with no washer dryer ..lol )

All of these vehicles except for the Hunter are extremely expensive. There are a few Russian made expedition vehicles you could add to your next video and the American ones also I guess. Thanks.

Lol. Actually, EarthCruiser, for example, can travel up 2100 miles on a fill-up. Others cover less, but still around 800-1000 mi.

It's weird the first truck you showed number one the Mercedes the spare tire was sitting in the water container it looks like it collected fresh rainwater there was definitely standing water in it you could see it inside of the tire cuz it was just attire and then you could also see it around it I wouldn't put that tire in my water container

Captain Jim yes of corse. But when most people hear ‘unimog’, those who are actually familiar with this platform at least, probably think of old military vehicles that can take attachments like a front loading bucket, backhoe, chainsaw, etc....not luxury campers.

Or just buy a surplus 5-ton M939 military truck for around $25,000 and build it up or buy a travel trailer and mount it to the frame. Take the money you'll save and buy fuel.
