My grandfather used to talk about that 300 years old tree..he was born in 1885 and he died in 1971 ..born in Galicia in Curtis.

Thanks so much for taking the time to do the detours. Such a beautiful walk - that big old tree was a surprise. Imagine all the people that have used that road for it to be carved out so deeply! Awesome!

Efrén this is beautiful thank you for sharing your travels. I am going this October my first Camino I have more limited time I am still contemplating starting in Lugo as a shorter route and having a few extra days to explore finesterre vs longer primitivo (I know this is your last push from another route) I was concerned I would miss out on some beautiful solitude but this gives me much contemplation. Also, I think we all want to walk with you 😅

Efren, I am planning to walk the 1,004 kilometre Camino Via de la Plata in May. Love the idea behind using a special purpose umbrella and it's design specifically for a rainy or really hot day. Hate ponchos so would really love to know the make and model of the brolly, where can I get one? Many Many thanks. Mike T.

Hi efren. Just love the drone shots .. they are shots most pilgrims don’t get to see up close .. not everyone can carry a drone. Loved this vlog

Olá Efrén, Acho que valeu muita a pena pegar o caminho alternativo e ver a Capilla do Carmo em Villabade. - O Albergue em Vila de Cars é o A Pociña de Muñiz (está na minha agenda). - O Apartamento em Lugo foi por AirBnB? Recomenda qual localização? Próximo à Catedral?
