Some cute ideas, but as always on this channel they've left out important steps (eg spray with rubbing alcohol to dissipate bubbles and help layers stick together) and used the wrong things (like food colouring which will work but could stain your hands or bathroom...) Please read or watch a proper tutorial on melt and pour soap making, before trying these designs if you want them to work.

I agree with everything except for the food colours: they're water-soluble so no, they don't stain.

If they would have sprayed the soap with rubbing alcohol it wouldn't have bubbles. Also I love how when they "cut" the watermelon soap with the box cutter, which is dangerous to have the blade out so far, the soap was magically cut in two they just followed the cut. Check time 3:32 and at 3:35 the blade even hits the other half and moved it. The same with the ocean soap at time 4:50

anybody ever tried makinh gelly soaps? i read somewhere that they start to melt if taken out of the refrigerator....my 2nd question is: they use food colors to color the soap...but doesn't that color leaves a tint on hands?

I believe there's a specific soap dye you're suppose to use. As for the jelly soaps I can not help you there.

I made jelly soap with jello hand soap and food coloring and it didn't stain me or my sink. Besides where I layed it for hours on end. If you use food color I suggest a soap dish

Don’t forget to put in scent ( if you want) and don’t microwave the soap in a plastic container and don’t microwave the soap for too long it will burn and smoke

Don't use food coloring... use soap dye. Many mistakes in these videos. Watch ones that explain them as they go.
