2. Invest in workout gear that is comfortable, fits well and inspires you to run
3. Don't panic when you feel minor pains while running, it is part of the experience
4. Find a running partner or join a group for added motivation and accountability
5. Find out where you enjoy running and stick to what works for you
6. Commit to your new habit, schedule your runs & track your progress
7. Use a reward to motivate yourself to build a habit and archive a larger goal/milestone
8. Get a fitness tracker to help you track your progress
9. Listen to music while running
