Plababras claves y sentimientos Key words and sentiments(feelings) I have watched this video a lot of times but the world news has me upset right now. I have have been wondering for a long time now about the imperfect tense, the preterite tense and sentimientos (feelings) My question is about feeling that one has had in the past. More specifically about feelings that I had at a specific time that had a definite beginning and an end. I have been having a hard time finding the word "claves" in the dictionary but I did find "palabras claves" which translates as "key words". Key words are important because they "trigger" things. My question is about triggering the preterate. For example the word "ayer" meaning yesterday is a specific period of time with a beginning and an end and so it triggers the preterite normally. So for example what if I wanted to say "I felt happy for an hour and 12 minutes at the party that I went to yesterday from noon to 1:12. That would be a pretty specific time period but then again feeling happy is a "sentimiento" (feeling) so that would trigger the imperfect tense. Or would it? Note I put in some simple explanations of things you already know Paula because I want my fellow students to be able to understand. Thanks as always for being out outstanding language teacher.
