It’s because most of us foreigners go to these countries living in the capital cities where it’s over populated snd mostly developed because u think outside of their capital cities they won’t have much to offer for u wrong it do like in Thailand and the Philippines outside of there capital cities a lot of the locals grow their own food a lot of them go and catch there own meat and they have a lot of local open markets that sell reasonable priced naturally grown food and also it’s not overly populated and no bad traffic outside of there capital cities y’all need to stop going to these countries running down the capital cities only being where it is fully developed and overly populated and unwilling to change your lifestyle as a foreigner being under going to and living in the same areas as other foreigners of course u won’t be able to live for $1,000 a month or less this is why many foreigners won’t last king on third world and developing countries because y’all don’t put y’all selves in the developing rural areas where it’s more agriculture more cultural more traditional more locals u wanna be surrounded by other locals not expats not tourists nor other foreigners 🤔😅💯others go back to your home country

High rent is a budget killer for fixed income seniors who aren't able to make more money. -?- (Dude) Food (BEEF) is the biggest advantage I see as they even speak my language in the Philippines ? (English) A budget is more than food but cheap fresh organic vegetables are year round as well.

If you're okay with living in a shack with no electricity like a poor local then more power to you😂 You get what you pay for over there and if you go out looking for the cheapest possible accommodation in the Philippines you're going to be in for a shock. The days of living comfortably under 1k in these places are gone. You need to be realistic. $1.3k - $1.5k range is very doable. "a budget is more than food" - No kidding, but food is one of the most expensive things in your budget which is why I made that example....

In most big cities in Argentina you will find almost 100 percent of the population speaks at least some English. And many many Argentines are very fluent in English, you won't find it hard to communicate at all over there. Plus the people are very friendly and you won't have any trouble to blend in (as opposed to immigrants in Europe, that will have even their grand-children never fully integrate ...).

Ecuador & Colombia are much cheaper too for visa costs & travel costs too from the US ? -- I really am infatuated w/ Argentina and - I LOVE BEEF ! -- I likely will never get to go simply due to the expense of staying until I die. Can't afford Palermo on my $1500 SS where many Americans are either.
