HACK/REPAIR: My sister had one of the twisting ones. It wouldn't twist around in order to release the vapour. If you're in a bind, just forcefully twist it past the sticking point. I did this and it works. Just not quite the way it was designed to.

My doctor recently put me on this medication recently. My information says to inhale twice. Also it says to not touch the used capsule. It is working pretty for me. I have had asthma for many years resulting in pneumonia.

You should inhale this two times to get the full dose for the day. The demo did not show that after the first inhalation it should be inhaled again for the second time before u throw away the empty capsule. Some videos say you dont wash the inhaler, some say u only wipe it with dry cloth and some say you wash it. Lets just follow manufacturer's direction.

i don't use it myself but i do treat patients who use it and it and it can help them a lot if taken correctly for COPD or asthma sometimes

Hi Lisa I've got moderate to severe Asthma and live I in Brisbane Australia I've been using Spiriva ( Tiatropaeum bromide) since January 2019 as required as an add on medicine when my seretide 500/50 and singular 10mg. isn't enough to leave my symptom free day to day. For me spiriva is fantastic! it's saved me many times from needing prednisone ( oral steroids) and after my first dose I was feeling it's positive effects in 45 min. You'd need to take to your family doctor to see if spiriva is right and safe for you but if it's given the green light by your doctor it's worth a try. Good luck. David Young 36. Brisbane Australia
