I saw the new episode. While it's a more topical episode (I'm not as big of a fan of topical episodes as I am of most other episodes), I think that it does a pretty good job at the humor we've come to know and love. Plus, making any sort of continuation after "Meanwhile" is a tall order. That was a fantastic finale, and it only makes sense that the Futurama team would do something bold for the very first episode of the reboot.
