Very comprehensive video. The reason n.1 is the price-quality ratio. This is just perfect. It is very hard to get a better deal with any other brand if we consider the Tracer 9 model, I mean a non-GT one. Some brands still come close, but just close...:) Keep up the good work. You got my like.

Hi V Told, here we are are approaching 2024 and I've narrowed it down to two bikes. Mt10 and Tracer 9 gt plus. Pretty sure the GT plus is the only model we will have in the US. I went into town yesterday and got to sit on a 2023 mt10 base model. The bike is almost a perfect fit for me. I want to hold off until I get a look at the 24 model mt10. I know it's going to be a little more expensive, I just want to see if they have made any changes. As far as the mt10, I think a five or six inch tft would be awesome. The tracer? I just like the way it looks Not to big of a fan of the adaptive radar and the look of the exhaust. It sounds pretty good though. If I do decide on the tracer, I'd probably be taking the panniers off. I'm not planning to take long trips on it. It's nice to have them though. I guess you can see I'm having a little trouble in deciding. I'm leaning a little more towards the mt10 though.
@VToldsMotoShow
@VToldsMotoShow 6 ай бұрын
Well, I'm interested to find out more about the MT10 myself but only after I do, I'll be able to actually say something about it. Also in comparison to a Tracer 9.

Don’t get me wrong, Tracer 9 is a tremendous bike in the segment, but for me, the one blinded eye of the medium lights is a deal breaker.
@VToldsMotoShow

I totally get it. Where I live, it would be fine in the city to keep the hi-beam on in traffic - then two lamps are on. I know not everybody is keen on doing that but especially in this case of those two small lamps, I guess it would be fine. Still, it's not a "legit" solution.

This was a dealer's bike so I wasn't forced to try to fix the windshield but I'd surely look if Givi makes any taller windshields for this model. I've had Givi touring windshield on one of my previous bike and it was fantastic so I'd be getting back to them.

You only need to close the throttle when reducing gears using a quickshifter. Going to higher gears, you just move the gear lever and the bike does the rest.

So, would buy a bmw r1250gs or the tracer gt and keep the extra 10,000 euro in your bank?
@VToldsMotoShow

If money matters, then I personally would head for a used 2-3 years old R1250GS. If only new ones come into play, then it depends how deep my pocket would be. But again, personally, I’d go for a GS spending that extra money on it.

If this is a question to me, then I'm 183 cm tall. Could count 184 cm in shoes. The windscreen on a Tracer 9 GT is a huge disappointment - creates a lot of turbulence and I wouldn't be able to live with it. It definitely needs to be replaced or have a deflector attached.

@@TheAskme32 engine wise, what are the differences you found between the ducati and Tracer (power, torque, cruising...)??

@TheAskme32 Жыл бұрын
@@armandomateus5103 engine wise tracer is faster, more torque etc than Ducati. Also in cornering and in any fast ride is better. Now ducati is more stable in fast speeds (over 180kmh). Tracer's front wheel shakes a bit. Also I think Ducati is more comfortable for longer rides and cruising with longer gears/ratio.

I haven't had a test ride of a Tracer 9 GT yet. I've sat on one at a show room. It's size, and seating position is ideal for me. My interest is probably from the fact that I love my Triumph Speed Triple 1050 RS, but it's not pillion friendly. ( I hate the keyless ignition on it, but I've already written about that on your other video !). Also my Speed Triple has a more sporty seating position, whilst not extreme is not too good for my middle aged body. I can only handle riding it for 40 mins at a time before I need a break. It's the triple engine that I like so much in my Triumph Speed Triple 1050 RS. 4 cylinder 1 litre bikes, well they just have to be rev-ed so much. They have more top end power, but I'm not racing on the road. Low end torque is way more useful, than a theoretical 200 BHP I could use if I'm on the track. Triples also have more smoothness and rev-iness than a twin. Now I'm not expecting a 900cc triple to have the torque of a 1050cc triple, so I might miss that. Yes there are Triumph triple engined bikes that are pillion friendly, but Triumph have mucked up the firing order on their "T plane" crank engine. It makes it a lumpy triple, that is like a twin. Just "WHY TRIUMPH ?" !!! But I'm looking for a pillion friendly bike , with a triple , with enough torque to keep me happy, and not have to rev the nuts off it. Your other video about the down sides of a Tracer 9 GT . Well (apart from keyless) , they do sound annoying. Some of them could be deal breakers. Guess I need to get a test ride , and see how it goes. Good video . Upvote from me !
@VToldsMotoShow

Sure, definitely try the Tracer 9 and if I may - seeing that you mention Triumph - I'd recommend that you check out the newest Triumph Tiger 1200. I'm not sure if the style would suit you since you're looking at a Tracer and ride the Speed Triple, but perhaps this bike could provide you with all the things that you seem to like too: powerful low end with plenty of torque, very comfortable seat and position, pretty smooth in everything that it does including startup of the engine, lots of space for the passenger and even a heated seat - this means that Triumph cares to make them comfortable too. Still a 3-cylinder engine. It's also priced not in a ridiculous way comparing to some competitors. Why not to check it out? I hope this helps. All the best!
